To ensure that the sports ground is independent from weather conditions (snow, rain, sun, etc.), a stationary canopy is provided above it. This solution will make the operation of the facility stable and predictable, independent of weather conditions, as well as extend the operating season of the skating rink (in winter) and maintain the ice surface (surface of the sports ground) in proper quality.

Main characteristics of the canopy over the site

The structure of the canopy is a prefabricated metal arched truss on metal columns coated with polycarbonate or galvanized sheet.

Construction area 2,275 m² (65x35 m²), ridge height 11.52 m. Polycarbonate 16 mm thick and area 2,405 m². The approximate weight of the structure is 110 tons.

Note: More precise characteristics (section of the truss and columns, weight, type of foundation and depth of its foundation) of the canopy structure are determined directly during the design in a specific area.

The design of the coating for ice (winter period) and for summer coating may be different depending on the chosen option for ice preparation technology.

A multifunctional sports ground is a complex of structures, including an indoor universal sports ground measuring 60x30 meters, fenced with hockey boards, with spectator stands for 128 seats and places for substitute players, and open area for general physical training.

One-time maximum throughput:

  • Winter period- 110 people/shift (mass skating);
  • Summer period - 88 people/shift (basketball on two courts and a site for general physical training).

In the immediate vicinity of the multifunctional site there are temporary modular buildings for training, rental and storage of equipment, as well as for the placement of refrigeration and water treatment equipment.

The changing rooms for students are made in the form of two combined block containers measuring 6.0 x 2.4 x 2.5 m each. The buildings have a clean interior and exterior finish and are equipped with minimal plumbing, technological and engineering equipment. The layout of the premises is organized taking into account the access of people with limited mobility.

The rental building is made in the form of a block container measuring 6.0 x 2.4 x 2.5 m. It has internal and external finishing, and is equipped with minimal technological and engineering equipment.

Heat recovery from the refrigeration system for air heating of auxiliary premises.

The energy obtained from complete heat recovery from refrigeration equipment will be sufficient for all heating. This system will lead to energy savings of up to 20%.

Energy consumption 400 kW (auxiliary rooms, site lighting, refrigeration unit).

Water supply 10 m³/day, city water supply, it is possible to use imported water.
