The corresponding decision is recorded in the order of the Russian Ministry of Sports. The status of the Olympic reserve was assigned to the department artistic gymnastics SSHOR "Korolev" in 2010. Status must be confirmed once every four years. For confirmation, it is necessary that athletes be part of the Russian national team, take part in the Championships of Russia and become their winners and prize-winners. In addition, the department must include athletes-candidates for master of sports, master of sports and master of sports of international class, as well as coaches of the highest category.

The Royal Department of Artistic Gymnastics, which was opened in the city back in 1961, meets all these criteria.

Today there are five trainers working at the department, three of them are of the highest category. Among more than 160 athletes there is one master of sports of international class, two masters of sports, seven candidates for master of sports, three athletes have 1 category and 140 have a general category.

Athletes of the department are annually included in the national teams of the Moscow region and the Central Federal District, and receive the Moscow Region Governor's Award for sports merits. One of the department’s students, Muhammadjon Yakubov, is a candidate for the Russian national artistic gymnastics team.

The school's gymnasts have many awards for victories in championships, cups and championships not only in the Moscow region, but also in Russia.

The sports school of the Olympic reserve "Youth of Moscow" for fencing "Burevestnik" operates on the basis of the USC "Iskra" in a specialized hall (36 x 18), equipped with special equipment. The school has locker rooms with showers and toilets, a trainer's room, locker rooms for coaches, a weapons workshop and a teaching room. The school is rich in good sports traditions. Pupils of the Olympic Reserve Sports School have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of the Olympic Games, World and European Championships, All-Russian and Moscow competitions. The school has repeatedly become a laureate of the competition for the best department of the Youth Sports School and Sports School of Russia.

The school is attended by about three hundred boys and girls living in the North-Eastern administrative district. A variety of cultural and sports activities are carried out with children at school. During the holidays (summer and winter) sports and recreational camps are held.
The school employs 20 experienced fencing coaches. Of these, four are Honored Trainers of Russia, three are Honored Masters of Sports, and fifteen have the highest category.
