How many points does an Olympiad participant bring to the school?

The results of students’ participation in city Olympiads are taken into account: “Museums. Parks. Estates”, “History and culture of the capital’s churches” and “The connection between generations will not be interrupted”. Educational organizations can get their points multiplied by a coefficient depending on the level of performance (in total for all Olympiads, for the Olympiad "Museums. Parks. Estates" one is taken into account best result in parallel):

  • high level (presence of at least four diplomas, of which at least two winners) - coefficient 1,02 ;
  • good level (at least three diplomas, at least one winner) - coefficient 1,01 ;
  • work has just begun (presence of at least one prize-winner or winner diploma) - coefficient 1,005 ;

Student sports competitions have been held since 1905 and have long since acquired a strong resemblance to the Olympic Games. This type of competition is considered the largest international sporting event after the Olympics itself. Student competitions have all the necessary attributes - symbols, medals, slogans, etc. The symbol of the Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk will be special - friendly, joyful and energetic.

Symbols of past Universiades in Russia and the USSR

Throughout history sports competitions The USSR received the honor of hosting the Universiade only once at this level. Moscow became the host city. Modern Russia has also managed this once so far, but will soon have to become the organizer of student competitions for the second time.

1973 Summer University Games

At this time, many souvenirs with the symbols of the Summer Universiade appeared in the USSR. Many collectors still hold pins dedicated to this event in high esteem. Also popular at that time was the issue of postage stamps dedicated to various competitions. There are at least 5 types of stamps known that have long been in the hands of true philatelists. Among other symbols, the familiar 5 colors of different continents used in the design of stamps and badges were noted. At that time, slogans, mottos and talismans had not yet spread sports competitions. The debut of the Universiade mascots took place only in 1981; before that they were only obligatory companions Olympic Games since 1968

Summer Universiade 2013

Summer student competitions in 2013 were held in Russia, on the territory of Tatarstan in Kazan. Then the Universiade logo was a 5-color tulip, with its flower cup depicting the letter U. The five-color design reflected the traditional symbolism of international-level sports competitions from all continents. The mascot of this Universiade was the charming snow-white kitten of the winged leopard depicted on the coat of arms of the republic. The competitions held had only 2 slogans: 1. You are the World. 2. We are the World. The second appeared as a unity of the logo of the Universiade itself and the abbreviation of the English “You”. Thanks to this play on words, we got 2 surprisingly suitable translation competitions: “The Universiade (U) is the whole world” and “You are the world.” It is unclear what caused the success Russian team- either the support of the native audience, or sincere faith in the slogans and mascot of the games, but according to the results of the competition, the leadership was incredibly convincing.

Symbols of the Winter Universiade 2019

These are the first winter student games in the history of both Russia and the USSR. Both Universiade held before this time were summer, although our country is most suitable for winter competitions. Submission of applications began back in 2012-2013. Krasnoyarsk submitted a presentation on September 14, 2013, and already on November 9, a decision was made on the host city. The symbol of the Winter Universiade 2019 is already there, the start dates are known, and the mascot is incredibly cute.

Universiade 2019 logo

The main symbolism of the upcoming student games is quite simple and at the same time elegant. The logo takes into account all the nuances - the color scheme, the general image, and the main symbol. The letter U has long symbolized all Universiade events. It was this that became the dominant part of the logo.

The Latin letter has become a kind of bright spot among the colored and striped triangles, giving the logo volume. Below are the name of the city and the year of the games. It also indicates the serial number and time of year of the Universiade. The final part of the logo is stars of 5 different colors - this is the official FISU block.

College games mascot

The animal mascot accompanying the Universiade 2019 is truly wintery and dear. This is an adorable Siberian husky. The cute gray and white dog has already received its new name, now it has become U-Laika. Although outwardly he is an ordinary friendly dog.

This talisman was chosen for a reason - first of all, the dog is a friend of people. At the same time, the talisman is identified with energy, joy and fidelity. There is no pretentiousness or special creativity in the presented mascot; in fact, it is just a cute dog that wishes good luck to all participants.

Slogans U-2019

The verbal motto of the upcoming Universiade will be the phrase “Real Winter”, meaning real winter. A sequel, “100% Winter,” will sometimes be added to it. Additionally, the phrase about the “percentage” of winter will be used as a patch along with the competition logo and the main slogan.

The Krasnoyarsk Winter Universiade invitation campaign uses the phrase “Welcome to winter!” Without translation, it is clear - the organizers invite participants and spectators to take a journey into real winter to get a lot of vivid impressions.

All sports fans should remember that these are special competitions - student ones. Not everyone can take part in them. There are two important criteria selection - age in the range of 17-25 years and the fact of training. You must be a student or graduate student; people who have already completed their studies are also allowed, having received a diploma or degree no later than 1 year before the competition. The symbol of the Winter Universiade 2019 only emphasizes the youth trend of the competition. In addition, everyone must understand that the participants’ lives include not only sports, but also studies, friendships and other student events.
