As a student at KAI , was keen technical types sports, fulfilled the standard of a candidate for master of sports and became a five-time champion of Tatarstan in motocross, and in 1978 became the first champion of the republic in winter circuit racing in cars. After graduating from the institute, Farit Tazievich, working at KAMAZ, continued to be actively involved in motorsports. Since 1983, he has been working in the internal affairs bodies, first as the head of the traffic police in Zainsk, then as the head of the Avtozavodsky department of internal affairs in Naberezhnye Chelny. Actively involved in automobile cross-country racing on special buggies, in 1990 he fulfilled the standard of a master of sports and took 3rd place at the USSR Championship. For his sports activities Badretdinov F.T. becomes the eight-time Champion of Russia in cross-country racing on buggies: six times from 1991 to 1996, twice in 1996 (in categories D3/6 - 1600 and D3/6 - 3500), and in 2000. At the beginning of 1998, to support athletes and promote mass motorsports in Naberezhnye Chelny, the Motor Sports Development Fund was created, and Farit Tazievich became the Director of this Fund on a voluntary basis. Badretdinov F.T. and today actively promotes the development of motor sports. Farit Tazievich is entrusted with the work of preparing KAMAZ sports cars for the Dakar rallies; he also takes a direct part in organizing the Silk Road rally raid, manages the technical maintenance of sports cars during the races, and supports the team’s material and technical base. "KAMAZ-master" on high level. The Silk Road Rally, which took place in 2010 across Russia from St. Petersburg to Sochi, is recognized throughout sports world a grandiose event, comparable only to the legendary Dakar Rally. To organize the construction of the Silk Way Rally route, a group of specialists is being created, which includes professional pilots, navigators, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Badretdinov F.T. was appointed head of this group in 2010. For many months, these specialists have been working in different regions of our country, writing down the legend of the future race, coordinating all emerging issues with representatives of local authorities, airports and law enforcement agencies. Immediately before the start of the rally, three days in advance, an “opening group” starts, whose tasks include checking the route, correct writing of the race legend, notifying local residents and authorities about the upcoming event, and coordinating safety issues. Under the leadership of Badretdinov F.T. The “opening group” coped with the assigned tasks “excellently.” In the Dakar Rally 2011 Argentina - Chile, Badretdinov F.T. heads the technical support group of the KAMAZ-master team, which includes 5 KAMAZ-635050 vehicles and 1 Toyota vehicle. This is the technical assistance group of the team - mechanics and engineers, whose task is to meet the “combat” cars after the next stage of the race and organize repair work at night - such that “the earth boils”. Thanks to the coordinated and professional work of the entire group, every morning sports cars go to the race like new. Farit Tazievich, who supervised this entire production process at night with his inherent organization and responsibility, gets behind the wheel of one of the KAMAZ trucks again every morning Maintenance and leads the whole group to the next bivouac, to new labor feats.

Born on September 19, 1951. They say about such people - “modern Lefty”. For many years, Mikhail Petrovich worked in experimental production, where prototypes of automotive equipment were assembled. The specificity of experimental production is the assembly of cars that do not yet have a full set of drawing and design documentation, and therefore a lot changes and is finalized by the designers together with mechanics during the assembly process. This is where M.P.’s creative approach manifests itself. Badanov, his “golden hands” are used. When a sports team was created at the Scientific and Technical Center of KAMAZ OJSC to participate in rally raids, they invited the best specialists from all KAMAZ factories, and Mikhail Petrovich, a highly qualified specialist capable of making independent decisions, was among the first to be invited to the team. During his work, he proved himself to be a highly qualified specialist, capable of making independent decisions. Mikhail Petrovich’s whole life is connected with motor sports. He bears full responsibility for the manufacture of fuel tanks for KAMAZ sports cars, for their design development in accordance with technical requirements. And his vast experience and high qualification ensure impeccable quality of all work performed. Increasing his technical level of knowledge, he successfully and efficiently carries out work on the manufacture of side members, frames, bumpers and various brackets for KAMAZ sports cars. In the victory of the KAMAZ-master team M.P. Badanov made a huge contribution with his work - the work of a mechanic.

During his leadership, he managed to create an effective team of creative journalists, as a result of which he grew significantly newspaper circulation. In 2010, Khairullin E.A. moved to work at NP KAMAZ-Avtosport, where he headed the team’s press service. His reports from the stages of the “Silk Way - Dakar Series” and “Dakar” rallies find a warm response among fans, arouse constant interest among readers, allow them to feel the atmosphere of the race, feel like a participant, and empathize with the athletes.

The production unit, headed by Vyacheslav Mizyukaev, had to produce parts for sports cars of the KAMAZ-master team. By his own admission, he liked working with KAMAZ athletes. What they did , seemed very interesting to him. Therefore, in 2005, Mizyukaev, without hesitation, accepted the offer to join the team. A year later, he made his debut as a mechanic at the stage of the Russian Championship “Khazar Steppes.” In 2007, his new debut took place there - as a navigator Well, the real breakthrough and his first victory in the sports field was participation and first place in the rally-raid “Astana Challenge - Silk Road Rally 2007”, which he, together with mechanic Eduard Nikolaev, rode in the crew of the five-time Dakar winner Vladimir Chagin . In 2009, V. Mizyukaev, as part of the crew of I. Mardeev, took fourth place in the Dakar Rally, and in the crew of E. Nikolaev, fourth place in the “Silk Road” race - Dakar series. Rybakova (mechanic) great success - 1st place . The legendary Dakar of 2011 further confirms the success of this crew, in which Vyacheslav again successfully copes with the work of a navigator - 3rd place among trucks after the famous KAMAZ racers - the crew of V. Chagin and F. Kabirov.

A. Karginov’s father is one of the founders and popularizers of buggy racing in Naberezhnye Chelny, so the future pilot showed a love for technology from an early age. While still a schoolboy, and then a university student, Andrey did an internship at the KAMAZ Scientific and Technical Center. In 1998, Karginov A. qualified as an engineer at the Kama Polytechnic Institute with a specialty in Automobile and Tractor Engineering. In 2005, he became a test driver at the Specialized Equipment Department of the Scientific and Technical Center of KAMAZ OJSC, and his dream of becoming a member of the legendary KAMAZ-master team came true. In 2006, the young athlete performed as a mechanic at various stages of the Russian Championship, in the same crews with such famous team veterans as Vladimir Chagin, Semyon Yakubov, Aidar Belyaev, Ilgizar Mardeev, and won victories: as part of the crew of I. Mardeev at the Great Rally Kalmykia" and V. Chagina - at the rally "Khazar Steppes". In 2007, at the Russian Championship stage, he already acted as a pilot of a combat vehicle; his crew won 3rd place in this race. In 2008, Andrei suffered an injury, due to which he had to temporarily withdraw from competitions. In 2010, for the first time in its sports career the young athlete competed at the international Dakar rally as a mechanic. The crew of Ilgizar Mardeev, in which Andrey was a mechanic, took 5th place. In 2011, A. Karginov, already as a pilot, was third in the Silk Way Rally, and in 2012, fourth in the Dakar Rally. The significant Dakar 2013, whose podium in the truck class was completely won by young KAMAZ crews, brought bronze to Andrey Karginov. From the first stages, this “Dakar” began to test the strength of the team’s crews. At the second stage, the clutch on Andrei Karginov’s car failed, which led to the loss of almost an hour of precious time for repairs. However, the difficulties of the first stages could not break the strong sports spirit of his crew members. Gradually, Andrei Karginov made up for the lost time, exhausting him with incredible speed and forcing the Dakar aces to be nervous and make mistakes. He has victories on stages 10, 11, 12 and 13, and on the fourteenth stage he snatched third place from last year's Dakar winner, finishing on three wheels! Karginov’s finish at the final stage of Dakar 2013 stupefied all the assembled spectators and organizers. In the middle of a short 15-kilometer special stage, the crew tore a tire. But the will to win and sporting anger were so great that the pilot brought the car to the finish line without the front wheel! There wasn't even any worn-out rubber left on the iron rim! “Amazing - impossible!” - the reporters shouted. Footage of this finish scattered around the world, causing first shock and then delight among television viewers. For a long time, the crew could not believe that they managed to “remain in the prizes.” After all, the pursuer of KAMAZ last year's winner Dakar Gerard De Roy was literally minutes away from not only third place, but also probable second place. And this is in a race over 8,000 kilometers long! By all accounts, Dakar 2014 was one of the most difficult in its history. Participants had to cover 9,370 kilometers, including 5,520 kilometers of high-speed sections. From the very beginning, the marathon was not easy for the KAMAZ-master crews. Only three days before the end of the race, Andrei Karginov’s crew became the leaders in the cargo classification. Before this, he had to win back 22 minutes, stage by stage, which were actually given to his main competitor Gerard De Rooy after Airat Mardeev’s accident. A. Karginov rode the second stage with a high temperature, after the finish of the stage he was hospitalized and spent the night under a drip in the bivouac hospital. Before the start of the last special stage, Andrey Karginov's advantage over De Roy based on the results of the previous 12 stages of the race was 7 minutes 25 seconds. But at the finish of the last special stage, fans see Karginov’s crew lagging behind De Rooy by 9 minutes 35 seconds, and in the general classification Andrey is behind the Dutchman by about 3 minutes. In fact, this is the second result in the race. But details come from the track. At the 90th kilometer of the high-speed section, the car of Chinese athlete Zhu Yong overturned and blocked the road. Gerard De Roy's crew passes by, hitting the damaged car, but does not stop to provide assistance. The crew of Karginov and Nikolaev arrive, with their help the jeep is put on wheels, the track is clear and finally the traffic jam caused by the accumulated cars of the participants is eliminated. The need to help the crew of 319 is undeniable, although it was accompanied by protest from De Roy's team. The protest was rejected by the College of Sports Commissioners. The time spent by the KAMAZ-master team to provide assistance was reimbursed. The victory at the 2014 Dakar Rally was won by the crew of Andrey Karginov of the KAMAZ-master team, 3 minutes 11 seconds ahead of the opponent. In 2017, by decision of the team management, Andrei Karginov’s crew was sent to the Africa Eco Race. The difficulty of these competitions is that during the two-week marathon, the African group of the KAMAZ-master team under the leadership of Sergei Savostin had to solve difficult logistical issues and at the same time fight for sports results in fierce competition with foreign teams. The KAMAZ-master team at the Africa Eco Race 2017 in the truck category was represented by 2 crews: the crew of Andrey Karginov (navigator Andrey Mokeev, mechanic Dmitry Nikitin) and the crew of Sergei Kupriyanov (navigator Alexander Kupriyanov, mechanic Anatoly Tanin) on a gas-diesel truck using as fuel a mixture of methane and diesel fuel. According to the results of the race, the crew A. Karginov-A. Mokeev-D. Nikitin took first place in the cargo category.

Participant, prize-winner and winner of Russian Championship stages, World Cup off-road rally stages, Paris-Dakar motor marathons. AWARDS: 1991 - Order of Honor 1996 - Medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland, 2nd degree" 2000 - Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Tatarstan 2004 - Certificate of Honor of KAMAZ OJSC 2005 - Medal "In Memory of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan" 2007 - Medal of the Order "For Services to Fatherland, 1st degree" 2008 - insignia "For services to the city" In 1988, Mikhail Aleksandrovich Kubrak, as an experienced specialist, was invited to the KAMAZ scientific and technical center as a test driver in the sports car department. From the very beginning of his work he showed himself to be a knowledgeable and experienced specialist. With his direct participation, the first KAMAZ sports cars for road racing and rallies were developed and manufactured. Working to improve the design of sports cars, Kubrak made a number of proposals that made it possible to increase the reliability of individual components and simplify the repair of automotive equipment. Subsequently, he participated in the manufacture of all new models and modifications of racing equipment - KAMAZ-49251, KAMAZ-49252 and KAMAZ-4911 EXTREME vehicles, which took part in international rally marathons, and today compete on an equal footing with the world's leading automakers. From the very beginning of his work in the KAMAZ-master team, Mikhail Kubrak’s racing role was determined - a mechanic of the technical support group. A specialist on whose shoulders falls the entire heavy burden of repairing racing equipment during night stops at bivouacs. This exhausting work, squeezed to the limit by the lack of time, importance and variety of tasks, erases all the usual boundaries of the labor intensity of preventive maintenance and car repairs. It requires not only deep professional knowledge, but special dexterity and skills to do in a matter of hours what would normally take days. To do this, you need to have excellent physical data, remarkable endurance and psychological attitude. Mikhail Kubrak is one of such people. A barge hauler of his trade, he has been pulling this burden for many years. And his strength does not weaken, which flows into the overall strength of the team - to participate in the rally and win. At the Lisbon-Dakar 2006 rally, the Kamaz team was confronted by almost seven dozen eminent rivals. Almost no team was able to maintain its full combat strength on the way to the finish line due to equipment failure and the impossibility of its restoration. Kamaz workers were in the same conditions. Only the word “impossible” is not in the vocabulary of its mechanics and Mikhail Kubrak among them. That is why all three combat trucks triumphantly raised the national flags of Russia and Tatarstan at the finish line of Dakar.

Born on December 8, 1959. Participant of the European Cup in road racing in 1987-1990, since 1990 - participant in the stages of the World Cup in off-road rallies, the Paris-Dakar motor marathon as part of the KAMAZ-master team . Awards: 2005 - medal "In memory of the 1000th anniversary of Kazan" 2007 - medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland" 2nd degree 2008 - insignia "For services to the city of Naberezhnye Chelny" 2011 - Letter of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan 2013 - Laureate of the "Golden Chariot" award Evgeniy began his career in the sports cars department of the KAMAZ Research and Development Center in 1988. He was engaged in the manufacture of buggies for participation in road races, both of national significance and in the stages of the European Cup, and took part in them as a mechanic. Since 1990, his work history has been associated with the KAMAZ-master team - the creation of racing trucks and the team’s participation in the World Cup of off-road rallies and the Paris-Dakar motor marathon. The highest professional skills and experience in car repairs under extreme conditions of multi-day racing made Evgeniy Kharlamov one of the best specialists on the team. He became a regular participant in all races in his main role - a mechanic of the technical support group, which bears full responsibility for the combat readiness of racing trucks during races. There are no discounts for fatigue, physical and nervous exhaustion, days of sleepless nights, bruises and injuries. There is no control here, and each repaired part or assembly is marked with the personal “stamp” of the mechanic’s responsibility. And often by their courage and dedication. In the middle of the Barcelona-Dakar 2005 rally, a key that came off a nut deeply cuts Kharlamov’s cheek. In the bivouac hospital, doctors stitch up the wound, and with this injury, Evgeniy Mikhailovich continues the interrupted work. And so on until the finish line, day after day, night after night. 2006, technical commission on the eve of the Lisbon-Dakar motor marathon. Having completed the preparation and delivery of the engine of the next KAMAZ to the technical commissioners of the race, Kharlamov falls off the wheel, getting caught on the tire tread. An ambulance arrives and urgently delivers the Russian mechanic to one of the local hospitals. Doctors ascertain an extensive sprain of the ligaments. knee joint. Evgeniy leaves the medical facility on crutches and goes out so that the very next day, overcoming the pain, he takes part in the first night repair of the bivouac. And ahead were 15 tiring stages of the rally, marked by intense work... Who would have said anything if the mechanic, as prescribed by the sick leave, had begun a course of appropriate treatment. Trauma is trauma. But the interests of the team are the interests of the team. And Kharlamov did what he had done many times before: he did not allow his absence to leave an irreparable gap in the group of KAMAZ mechanics on the eve of the start. E. Kharlamov, being one of the strongest specialists of the team, invariably takes part in the technical maintenance group in the Silk Way rally raids and the Dakar super marathon and makes his worthy contribution to the team’s new victories.

Needless to say, how difficult it is to get into a world-famous team, but even more difficult, in a relatively short time, to win the right to participate in the main competitions of each sports year such as Dakar. Ildar Shaysultanov, having joined the team in 2002, managed to achieve this. A competent, proactive specialist in car repair and maintenance, capable of concentrating in a variety of extreme situations, he immediately attracted attention. The first “break-in” showed that the team leaders were not mistaken in their choice, betting on this person. During the rally, he, who has an extraordinary physical strength, they were given the most difficult and grueling work: replacing wheels, suspensions, and repairing bridges. Replacing gearboxes on sports trucks weighing under 170 kg in the field alone is worth it. And all this, literally, is on the shoulders of such mechanics as Ildar Shaysultanov.

Participant, prize-winner and winner as part of the KAMAZ-master team at stages of the Russian Championship, stages of the World Cup of Off-Road Rallies, and Paris-Dakar motor marathons. From the very beginning of his work, he was distinguished by his curiosity, ability to work, and desire to improve his professional knowledge. Since 1989, he has been working in a group that prepares cars for road racing, and since the early nineties, without hesitation, he entered a working path associated with a new direction sports activities- creation and production of racing cars for participation in international rallies. The young, competent specialist immediately fell in with the rapidly growing KAMAZ-master team. Knowing perfectly the design of KAMAZ vehicles, and approaching any production problem with creative acumen, Valery Mirny, in the course of his work, makes a number of innovative proposals for the manufacture of cabins, platforms, and various brackets that are implemented in sports trucks. He takes all his accumulated creative and production knowledge with him to various international rallies, and first of all the Paris-Dakar supermarathon, as a mechanic of the technical support group. During the day - a several-hundred-kilometer journey from bivouac to bivouac with a short sleep right in the mechanic's seat in the cab of a technical truck; all night long - grueling work on the prevention and repair of racing trucks. In general, no sleep, no peace. This is the mechanic's lot. But it is this link and its bright representative Valery Mirny at the grueling multi-day Dakar auto marathon that lays the foundation for its success on the track. The success of the team ultimately depends on how prepared the cars are to continue the race after each stage. At the Lisbon-Dakar 2006 rally, three racing KAMAZ trucks were opposed by an unprecedented number and preparation - seven dozen - of racing trucks from the world's most famous brands: 21 MAN, 20 MERCEDES, 9 RENAULT, 5 IVECO, 4 TATRA. But none of them were able to tame the winning spirit of the “KAMAZ-master” team, implicated in the skill and courage of the riders, the reliability of its equipment, which is ensured by mechanics such as Valery Mirny. The team that managed to win the seventh victory at the Dakar, thereby setting a record that no team has ever achieved in the entire 28-year history of the legendary motor marathon.

Born on April 17, 1957. Participant, prize-winner and winner as part of the KAMAZ-master team at stages of the Russian Championship, stages of the World Cup of Off-Road Rallies, and Paris-Dakar motor marathons. Awards: 1981 - Letter of gratitude from KAMAZ OJSC 1988 - Certificate of honor from KAMAZ OJSC 2005 - medal "In memory of the 1000th anniversary of Kazan" 2007 - medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland, 2nd degree" 2007 - Certificate of honor from KAMAZ OJSC 2008 - Certificate of honor from the Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny 2011 - the title “Honored Mechanical Engineer of the Republic of Tatarstan” 2013 - the title “Honored Worker of KAMAZ” He has been working at KAMAZ since 1978. I began to get acquainted with sports equipment at the buggy manufacturing site, so that later, with the accumulated baggage - experience and professional knowledge of a universal mechanic - I could join the ranks of the KAMAZ-master team. And getting into this sports team even then, in the second half of the nineties, was no longer easy. Strict requirements, which included, in addition to honed professional knowledge and skills, physical endurance, psychological stability to work in extreme rally situations, psychological compatibility with the team, the ability to work in a single team and subordinate one’s interests to it - all applicants for vacant positions were sifted through these requirements. places on the team. It cannot be otherwise: the slightest weakness made during a multi-day auto marathon by at least one person can undo the efforts of the entire team in one fell swoop. Akhmet Akberdin also went through a similar tough selection. But working in a production shop where racing trucks are assembled is one thing, but getting a “ticket” to the race is even more difficult. And Akhmet Akberdin passed this exam. He rightfully shares all the team’s most outstanding victories over the grandees of the world automotive industry at Dakar with the group of technical support mechanics who ensured these victories. All mechanics who service racing trucks at rallies are professionals - generalists who have a variety of working professions. Each of them works “for four people” in extreme rally conditions, performing repairs of any complexity. Such is Akhmet Akberdin, modest and quiet in everyday life, but irrepressible in the main task of his life - to be a mechanic for the KAMAZ-master team. All three KAMAZ racing trucks, no matter what road troubles they got into during the race, no matter what “wounds” they received, were restored and reached the victorious finish of the Lisbon-Dakar 2006 rally. Largely thanks to the “golden” hands of mechanic Akhmet Akberdin.

Born February 11, 1962. Master of Sports of international class. Awards: 1996 - Order of Friendship 1997 - title "Honored Worker of KAMAZ" 2000 - Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Tatarstan 2005 - medal "In Memory of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan" 2007 - medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland, 2nd degree" 2008 - title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Naberezhnye Chelny" "2008 - insignia "For services to the city of Naberezhnye Chelny" 2011 - title "Honored Transport Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan" 2011 - Letter of Gratitude from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, 20112012 - Certificate of Honor from the Mayor 2012 - Certificate of Honor of OJSC "KAMAZ" 2013 - medal "For Valorous Labor" Participant, prize-winner and winner as part of the KAMAZ-master team at stages of the Russian Championship, stages of the World Cup of Off-Road Rallies, and Paris-Dakar motor marathons. Working since 1979 at the Scientific and Technical Center of the Kama Automobile Plant as a test driver of experimental equipment, Nail Bagavetdinov took part in testing KAMAZ vehicles in testing conditions and in different climatic zones. His skill as a driver and knowledge of the vehicle helped significantly improve the reliability of such an important system as tire inflation on all-wheel drive trucks. With his participation, work was also carried out to modernize the constant velocity joint, which resulted in an increase in the service life of the front axles of the KAMAZ-4310 vehicle. Since 1992, Nail Bagavetdinov has been working in the KAMAZ-master team, engaged in the most important task at that time - the production and testing of KAMAZ-49251, 49252, 49256, 4911, 4326 vehicles intended for participation in international rallies. During the testing process, design flaws and malfunctions are identified. Bagavetdinov N., together with his teammates, showing design and metalworking abilities, brings the new car to perfection. In 1996, the crew of Viktor Moskovskikh with mechanic Nail Bagavetdinov became the winner of the Paris-Dakar 1996 supermarathon for the first time in the history of domestic motor sports. For many years, Bagavetdinov traveled as part of a sports crew. he is a multiple winner and prize-winner of the World Cup and Russian Championships. Behind sports achivments Bagavetdinov N.M. awarded the title “Master of Sports of International Class”. Not a single foreign race of the KAMAZ-master team takes place without the participation of Nail Bagavetdinov. Rich experience, skill, and irreplaceable skills in repairing and servicing vehicles in extreme rally conditions determined the main role of Nail Bagavetdinov as one of the leading mechanics of the technical support group, which bears the entire burden of maintaining the combat readiness of racing trucks during the Dakar rally. These are people of special tempering and special human touch. Physical endurance, beyond the usual limits, psychological stability, the ability to work for many hours in a row without sleep or rest, to solve numerous technical puzzles that arise during the race and to find a way out in any situation - these are just some of the qualities inherent in the mechanics of the KAMAZ-master team. , the bright bearer of which is Nail Bagavetdinov today. Young mechanics of the team learn from him and look up to him today, who are undergoing their first test on rally tracks, and who tomorrow will have to carry the torch of the team’s glorious deeds further.

Born on January 5, 1958. Participant, prize-winner and winner as part of the KAMAZ-master team at stages of the Russian Rally Championship, stages of the World Cup of Off-Road Rallying, the Dakar and Silk Road marathons. AWARDS: 1986 - medal "For Labor valor" 2000 - Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Tatarstan 2005 - medal "In memory of the 1000th anniversary of Kazan" 2007 - medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland, 2nd degree" 2007 - Certificate of Honor of KAMAZ OJSC 2008 - Certificate of Honor of KAMAZ OJSC 2008 - insignia For services to the city 2011 - Letter of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan 2013 - medal "For Valiant Labor" 2014 - medal "Team Veteran" 2014 - Certificate of Honor from KAMAZ OJSC Started working as a test driver in the department of the chief designer of KAMAZ in 1978. He has proven himself to be a technically competent specialist and a proactive worker. As a test driver, he took part in testing Kama trucks in different road and climatic conditions at the training ground, mountains and deserts of Central Asia. He made an undoubted contribution to the development, improvement of the design, production and testing of KAMAZ-49251, KAMAZ-49252 vehicles, as well as all subsequent models of racing trucks, on which the KAMAZ-master team won unprecedented victories in international rallies. Bigashev's track record at races in the KAMAZ-master team is short and concise - combat crew mechanic, technical support team mechanic, technical assistance vehicle pilot. It is these specialists that the team relies on today. In 2001, crew mechanic Bigashev received a severe spinal injury during a car accident and underwent a special course of treatment for many months. He passes in order to return to duty again, knowing how valuable his experience and professional knowledge are to the team. Today he has been entrusted with an extremely important and responsible task - to pilot a technical support vehicle, with mechanics and spare parts. Any failure in its operation - an unforeseen breakdown, untimely arrival at the bivouac to carry out nightly maintenance and repair work - jeopardizes the entry of racing trucks to the start line, and can largely erase all the many months of work of the sports team in preparation for the auto marathon. At the Lisbon-Dakar 2006 rally, Foat Bigashev worked clearly and impeccably. The technical vehicle piloted by him, despite the difficult road conditions, and every day he had to overcome 500-1000 km of off-road conditions, emergency circumstances, never let his team down during the 15 days of the race, making an undoubted contribution to its seventh Dakar victory.

Participant, prize-winner and winner as part of the KAMAZ-master team at stages of the Russian Championship, stages of the World Cup of Off-Road Rallies, and Paris-Dakar motor marathons. AWARDS 1991 - Order of Friendship of Peoples 1996 - Medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland, 2nd degree" 1999 - Certificate of Honor from the Mayor 2000 - title "Honored Kamazovets" 2000 - Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Tatarstan 2001 - Gratitude of KAMAZ OJSC 2005 - Medal "In Memory of 1000- anniversary of Kazan" 2007 - medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland, 1st degree" 2008 - insignia "For Services to the City" 2011 - title "Honored Mechanical Engineer of the Republic of Tatarstan" Works in the KAMAZ-master team from the first days of its formation. The main thing of all working life is engines. Engaged in the preparation of highly accelerated engines for the participation of KAMAZ vehicles in international sports competitions. As a result, he made a major contribution to the development of a new family of engines with improved power and economic performance. First of all, into the fuel supply, lubrication and air cooling system. As a result of the work carried out, the engines installed on sports cars provided the necessary qualities of the first KAMAZ racing cars, allowing them to compete with competing cars. With his direct participation, 2 generations of new engines were manufactured and tested in rally conditions, which ensured their speedy introduction into mass production. In subsequent years, he has been adapting YaMZ engines into the design of KAMAZ racing trucks, fine-tuning them to the appropriate characteristics necessary for efficient operation of vehicles in extreme conditions of multi-day and grueling motor marathons. Mikhail Myasoedov, as the chief engine specialist, ensures not only their preparation for competitions, but also, which is extremely important, is involved in the maintenance and repair of engines during the rally. On the course of the Lisbon-Dakar 2006 supermarathon, which was more than 10,000 km long, where the struggle between the main rivals was literally every minute and second, the reliability of the car, coupled with the skill of the crew, played a decisive role. The one who lost precious time and lost, as a rule, was the one whose equipment broke down due to an accident or extreme overload. The statistics on the failure of individual components and parts of KAMAZ racing trucks is eloquent: at the Lisbon-Dakar 2006 rally, as well as at the previous ones, not a single case of engine failure was recorded due to the fault of M. Myasoedov. What could be more eloquent than this fact, which is backed by colossal stress, experience, responsibility, remarkable performance and dedication of the team’s main engine driver, Mikhail Myasoedov. And what could be more objective in assessing his contribution to the team’s next victory at the Lisbon-Dakar 2006 rally, and to the overall results of its sporting activities, which have no domestic or international analogues.

The history of the KAMAZ-Master team began in 1988 and continues successfully to this day. Not a single Russian team, except KAMAZ-Master, managed to become a three-time winner of the World Cup in off-road rallies. The team became a nine-time winner of the transcontinental Dakar super marathon, marked with the highest category of difficulty.

The first KAMAZ-Master rally took place in Poland (Jelcz Rally). Three off-road trucks of the KAMAZ brand, which was practically unknown on the European continent, participated from Russia. None of the participants and fans could have imagined that the newcomers’ team would be able to take prizes. KAMAZ-Master then received silver in the race. From that moment on, the team began to have luck in other competitions.

In 1989, KAMAZ team took silver and bronze in the international rally raid “Objective Sud”. In 1990, the athletes received fourth place at the Pharaoh Rally. In 1991, at the Paris-Dakar race, the Russians took second and third places, and in 1992, at the Paris-Beijing distance, they took bronze.

The team won its first victory in 1995 at the Master Rally. It was a real triumph. Since that time, athletes have been counting down the history of KAMAZ-Master. From the Russian Championship to the World Cup, members of the team won 35 first places, 12 second and 7 third.

During the 2000s, KAMAZ-Master won 42 first places, 12 second and 7 third. During this period, the team took part in the Russian Championships, the Russian Cup and the World Cup. KAMAZ-Master continues to take part in Dakar, Desert Challenge and many other rallies.

The KAMAZ-Master team consists of 90 people. In addition to athletes, it includes technical, engineering and managerial personnel. The most important thing is that the team is not characterized by corporate competition. In their work, the team values friendliness, mutual assistance and responsibility of employees, above all. The KAMAZ-Master team is one big family. This interaction model was formed during racing and is successfully used in everyday life.

General Director of KAMAZ OJSC A.S. Kogogin believes that people in a team are like parts of a large mechanism: one smallest part fails and the whole machine does not work.

Today, the team includes five World Cup winners, five honored masters of sports and eight international masters of sports, athletes who have long been among the generally recognized elite of international rallies:

  • Honored Master of Sports, Honored Trainer of the Russian Federation Semyon Yakubov;
  • Honored Masters of Sports Vladimir Chagin, Sergey Savostin, Firdaus Kabirov, Aidar Belyaev.

An honorary member and pilot of the KAMAZ-Master team is the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. He annually takes part in the Desert Challenge Rally.

The KAMAZ-Master team includes not only reputable racers, but also young athletes. After all, the life of professional sports is impossible without its renewal by talented youth. Veterans of the KAMAZ-Master team conduct targeted work with young athletes. Among the young KAMAZ employees there are those who can be called the future of the team. For example, the achievements of such young athletes as Andrey Mokeev and Eduard Nikolaev already include victories at the Dakar.

One of the features of the KAMAZ-Master team is technically competent specialists with appropriate higher education. In the event of an accident, they are able to fix the problem themselves, which often happens at rally raids. When preparing athletes for rally raids, working with equipment, knowing and understanding it is an integral part of the work. This approach is important in motorsport. Repeatedly, the outcome of the race depended on the technical competence of the crew members, because wasted precious minutes and hours keep athletes away from winning races.

During preparation for the rally, and even after grueling auto racing, the team needs rest and rehabilitation. The KAMAZ-Master Sports Center was built especially for this purpose. Before the appearance of the Sports Center, the team created cars in a small area of the general KAMAZ production. This center provided a platform where it was possible to gather all the team cars under one roof. Here, for example, graceful combat trucks and huge “elephants” are located, serving as mobile workshops and even hotels in the desert. The technical staff was provided with the latest equipment and the latest technologies for working with sports cars.

IN Sports center KAMAZ-Master is also located health complex. Here riders and other team members can relieve fatigue and stress. Rally participants do not just support sports uniform, but also undergo rehabilitation. After all, it’s a rare off-road marathon without injuries of varying severity, usually in the spine, fractures, ruptures of muscles and tendons. Therefore, to return the team to sports, the medical method of “kinesitherapy” is used. It was developed by the famous domestic scientist and devotee, Doctor of Medical Sciences and staff doctor of the team Sergei Bubnovsky. The sets of exercises he created for each individual case brought many KAMAZ athletes back to their feet.

At one time, thanks to kinesitherapy, athlete Sergei Reshetnikov, who suffered a spinal fracture at the Dakar, returned to active sports activities and, on his own initiative, mastered the method under the guidance of its creator.

The KAMAZ automobile plant helps KAMAZ-Master in the creation and modification of sports cars. Most automobile plant enterprises develop every detail for sports equipment, and this is almost always know-how. This kind of work requires a special creative approach from manufacturers. In September 1988, at the Yelch rally, KAMAZ athletes made their debut on serial all-wheel drive KAMAZ-4310 SUVs. In the early 90s, together with factory designers and testers, the team created their own sports trucks KAMAZ-49250 and KAMAZ-49251. The basis for these cars was the most advanced technology of the Kama Automobile Plant at that time. In 2007, KAMAZ-4326 VK was born. This sports car embodies all the best developments of the team and proved its potential first at the stages of the Russian Championship, and then at Dakar 2009.

In 2003, the KAMAZ-Master team created new model sports car – KAMAZ 4911 EXTREME. This car had no analogues in cross-country ability, maneuverability and dynamics. For its unique technical and operational qualities it was called a “flying truck”. In the skillful hands of racing drivers, the car easily lifts off the ground at speed, pushing off from natural springboards. With an 850 engine Horse power The car accelerates to 100 km/h in ten seconds.

Over the years of its existence, the KAMAZ-Master team has managed to achieve international recognition and not change its status as professionals in motorsport. The team successfully competes with various leaders of the global automotive industry - rally participants: Mercedes, MAN, Renault, DAF, Zhinaf, Mitsubishi, Tatra, Iveco.

"Golden Bedouin" goes to Russia. The KAMAZ-Master crew, led by Eduard Nikolaev, again won the prestigious Dakar auto race in the truck category. Nikolaev was in the lead throughout almost the entire rally, and before the last stage he was almost four hours ahead of his closest pursuer. However, as the three-time champion later admitted, the current victory was not easy for him.

A game of speed and nerves over a length of nine thousand kilometers through the Peruvian dunes, the Bolivian highlands, and the Argentine off-road. But the main prize, the “Golden Bedouin” in the truck class, is again with the Russian racers. This year KAMAZ-Master lost second place to Belarus. Ours have “bronze”.

"I am very happy! I'm happy for the team, I'm happy for our country, for Russia, we are the first! I wish all Russian athletes this year... We have opened the sports season, I wish them to carry this victorious spirit throughout the entire season, at all competitions, all over the planet. Russia must be first!” – says the head of the KAMAZ-Master team, Vladimir Chagin.

“I can’t even believe it a little. Everything is here – both fatigue and happiness. We know that our fans, relatives and family are looking forward to seeing us at home,” says the winner of the Dakar 2018 rally marathon, Eduard Nikolaev.

Among the heavy engines, the crew of Eduard Nikolaev was one of the main contenders for victory. But Dakar, as always, is unpredictable. Already at one of the first stages, the car of KAMAZ leader Nikolaev overturned and got stuck in the sand. But then a crew from the Czech Republic unexpectedly came to the rescue.

Later Nikolaev will say about this victory - it was one of the hardest in his career. In the final stages, the gap to second place was, just think, just a second! But closer to the finish it became clear what added speed to our main rival, Argentinean Federico Vilagra. He drove part of the route with a half-empty tank, which means he was faster. Here the crew is refueling where it is prohibited by the rules. Witnesses filming everything on mobile phones are clearly not welcome here. But even before the judges decided on this ugly episode, Vilagra dropped out of the fight for medals. The gearbox has failed.

Perhaps this Dakar will also be remembered for the fact that one by one experienced riders left the race. At one of the off-road stages, the 2004 champion, Spaniard Nani Roma, had an accident and suffered a head injury. Frenchman Sebastien Loeb, a nine-time world champion in classic rallying, withdrew from the race after his co-driver was injured.

Sergey Karyakin last year became the first Russian to win the Dakar in the ATV class in almost 40 years of the race’s existence. But this time he was forced to take a risk - he was catching up due to a technical failure.

“I broke my arm while passing the track! Sorry that I couldn’t please you, friends, at the finish line in Argentina, it’s a shame to the point of tears!” – Sergey Karyakin wrote on the social network.

The 40th anniversary Dakar will also go down in history as a race with a record number of participants in all categories. In the truck class that started in Peru, only half managed to reach the finish line in Argentina. And in the KAMAZ-Master collection, this trophy of the highest standard in the prestigious race became the fifteenth. The support team jokes: for the award, this is probably enough time to obtain a permanent residence permit in Russia.

"KAMAZ - Master" began its existence in 1988 and exists to this day, successfully participating in rallies. Not a single team from Russia was able to become a three-time winner of the World Off-Road Rally Cup, except KAMAZ-Master. It is worth noting that the Kamaz team took the championship 9 times in the transcontinental Dakar supermarathon, which has a high category of difficulty.

Successful start

The first participation of the young Soviet team was the Jelcz competition, held in Poland. The team nominated three participants in an all-wheel drive KamAZ vehicle, which was unknown to the Western world. Even the participants themselves could not imagine that their young team would take a prize, namely 2nd place and silver. A successful start gave rise to further successful participation in subsequent competitions. The unknown hero was a car from the Kama Automobile Plant under the symbol 4310.

The team's next participation was the international rally raid "Objectif Sud" in 1989. It was then that the team decided to try their hand at a more prestigious championship, where they were able to snatch second and third place in the overall team standings.

1991 became less productive for the team, where they took only 4th place in the Pharaoh Rally competition. In the same year, taking part in the world-famous competition “Paris - Dakar”, already Russian athletes took 2nd and 3rd place, losing the championship to the French in a Perlini car.

The team numbers just over 90 people. The team includes the crew itself, technical personnel, engineers and managers. The main secret of the team's championship is mutual assistance, goodwill and high responsibility of all employees. This is one close-knit family, thanks to which KamAZ is known throughout the world as the strongest rival to Western trucks. According to General Director Sergei Anatolyevich Kogonin, people in the team are parts of a large unit, where one small spare part fails and the entire unit fails.

Features of the team

These include technically competent specialists who have higher education. Their main advantage is that to the maximum short term, specialists are able to fix any breakdown, which often happens at competitions. Often the outcome of the race directly depended on the speed of car repairs.

The main character is KamAZ

There have been 10 trucks in the history of the team. With the advent of the following models, a deep modernization of components and assemblies was carried out, as well as work on errors and weak points, which manifested themselves directly during the race. It is noteworthy that the first racing car was assembled exclusively from domestic parts, which, unfortunately, did not provide adequate reliability. What does the latest car model consist of?

KamAZ 4326-9 - the frame is taken from the army version of the domestic truck. The engine is installed at the Yaroslavl Engine Plant, a diesel engine with a turbine, developing more than 600 horsepower and a torque of 830 N/m. The gearbox is no longer domestic production, and German, from ZF. Paired with a foreign sixteen-speed transmission, KamAZ is capable of accelerating to 160 km/h. The transfer case was also borrowed from Western engineers from Steyr and has a center differential lock. Turkish driveshaft, shock absorbers made in Holland, Finnish axles, Michelin tires, brakes are Belgian. All that remains of a domestic racing truck is the original cab, frame and engine.

The driving characteristics are amazing: a climbing angle of more than 35%, a turning radius of just over 11 meters, and acceleration to 100 km/h in 16 seconds.

The engine is powered not only by diesel. It is gas-diesel. 89 liter cylinders are filled with natural gas, resulting in a fuel supply of 80 cubic meters of compressed gas, which, with a consumption of 140 liters per 100 km, is enough for 350 km. The total range is 1500 km. The gas-diesel mixture consists of 70% gas and the rest diesel fuel. Thanks to domestic advanced engineers, it was possible to perfectly combine two types of fuel, while increasing the efficiency of the engine.

The car can also be used not only as a rally car, but also as a vehicle for express delivery of goods through the most difficult off-road conditions, mercilessly jumping at high speed over bumps, holes and other off-road delights. The last competition of this year, Dakar, took place in 2017. This was the hardest race. Despite the rain, landslide and mudflows, the team took first place. In 2017, the team was replenished only with silver and gold, which proves the legendary nature of the domestic truck and the incredible professionalism of the team.
