Frisbee - rules of the game. What is “sports frisbee?” Rules for playing frisbee

The game of Frisbee (flying disc) was recognized as an Olympic sport at the session of the International Olympic Committee(IOC) in Kuala Lumpur.

Reuters reports this.

The International Frisbee Federation (WFDF), founded in 1985, has achieved compliance with all criteria Olympic events sports, including the presence of 62 national federations, as well as gender equality.

Olympic recognition entitles you to receive funding from the IOC, but does not mean inclusion of the sport in the program Olympic Games. However, frisbee may now be included in the list of candidates for participation in future Games.

Frisbee (Frisbee), flying disc - common name sports equipment, which represents plastic disk with curved edges with a diameter of 20-25 centimeters. The disc is made in such a way that during its flight a lifting force is created, which allows you to throw discs over significant distances and with great accuracy.

There are two variants of Russian spelling English word frisbee: through "z" and through "s". In general, the first spelling is more common than the second, although only the spelling with “s” is legalized in dictionaries.

It should be noted that "Frisbee" is not technically a generic name for flying discs, but a trademark of the toy division of the Wham-O Corporation - Mattel. In addition, discs from Wham-O are rarely used in games; discs from Discraft are used much more often.

In the late 40s of the 20th century, the topic of unidentified flying objects was popular in American society. Walter Friedrich Morrison took advantage of this. He came up with a “flying saucer” in 1948 that looked like a UFO (the event was funded by Warren Francioni). However, this first disc was unsuccessful. After a series of improvements and experiments, the plastic plate made by Morrison in 1955 began to fly well above the ground and became a hot commodity, and in 1957, with his consent, flying saucers began to be produced under the brand name “Pluto Platter” by the Wham-O company in San Francisco. Gabriele.

At the same time, Yale University students were throwing Frisbie Pie Company tin pie stands at each other during their free time. The name "Frisbee" was so popular among students that Wham-O renamed their flying saucers Frisbee. One letter was deliberately changed so that the Frisbie Pie Company could not lay claim to the name.

The flying Frisbee pie tin is featured in the movie Back to the Future (Part 3). The action takes place in 1885 at a city festival. Main character, who came here from 1985, sees a villain aiming a revolver at his friend, grabs an empty tin from the table, launches it in the “classic” way and knocks down the aim. The plate is shown in close-up, and the word Frisbie's is clearly visible on the bottom.

Ultimate Frisbee is the most popular and famous team game with a flying disc. The game is very dynamic and spectacular, requiring good reaction, throwing technique, speed and endurance.

The game is played on the field rectangular shape with zones at each end. Two teams play (7x7 on grass, 5x5 on sand and indoors, although you can play 2x2 and 3x3). One team is the attacker, the other is the defender. The goal of the attacking team is to pass to a player of their team who is in the opponent's zone (in this case, a point is scored). If this is impossible for some reason, then you can pass to any other player on your team except yourself. The goal of the defending team is to knock down/catch the disc, or force the attacking player with the disc to hold it for 10 seconds (in hall 8). In this case, the disk is lost and the teams switch roles. You cannot move with the disc; only one player of the defending team can interfere with the player with the disc. Deliberate physical contact opponents is prohibited (for example, pushing or blocking).

The most important principle of ultimate is the Spirit of the Game. Briefly it can be described as “Respect for your opponent is paramount.” Unlike, for example, football, the moral rules of ultimate strictly prohibit intentional fouls and mockery of the opponent. Such behavior may be interpreted as a lack of sportsmanship.

In addition, there is no concept of penalty in ultimate. It is assumed that no one will maliciously break the rules, so there are only light penalties for unintentional violations. As already noted, in ultimate, each player is responsible for his behavior on the field. There are no referees to ensure that everyone behaves “like an adult,” so the responsibility for calling a foul lies with everyone, not just the victim. That is, you can, for example, call a foul on yourself (which is not so rarely observed). In ultimate, the goal is not to win at any cost; it is important that the game is fair and fun. All this is a consequence of the basic principle - the Spirit of the game.

City Ultimate Frisbee is an ultimate game in an urban environment; there are various obstacles on the playing surface. Teams of 5-7 people. Unlike regular ultimate, the game has gates, each team has its own. A gate is some kind of hill. A player from team A must be in the goal of team B, while players from his team try to pass to the player from team A. A point is scored if the player catches the disc within the goal. Moving around the court with a disc in your hands is prohibited. Unlike regular ultimate, the disc can be knocked out of your hands. A more aggressive type of Frisbee game.

Guts Frisbee - sport game, in which two teams take part, from one to five players each. The goal of the game is to be the first to score 21 points. Before the start of the game, the teams are placed one opposite the other, at a distance of 14 m. The player must throw the disc at the opponent so that he cannot catch it. In this case, the throw must be made within a limited with outstretched arms opponents zone. If the throw is made incorrectly, the receiving team receives a point.

Players on the receiving team must catch the disc with one hand. If they succeed, then no points are awarded to anyone; if not, then the team that just threw the disc gets a point. This game develops the skills of throwing a disc, as well as the ability to catch the disc with one hand.

Flutterguts Frisbee- 2 teams of two people each play. Teams are placed 1-2 meters opposite each other. The task of one team is to catch the disc with one hand, the task of the other team is to throw the disc so that the opponent cannot catch it. The disk should fly with vertical rotation around the longitudinal axis. If the disc is caught with one hand, a point is scored. The disc can be tapped with any one part of the body without pressing it to yourself. If the disc is pressed to the body, or taken with both hands, then a transition occurs. Every 5 throws the teams switch places. The game goes to 11 points.

There is also Double Disc Court, Freestyle Frisbee, Disc Golf and Dog Frisbee.

Frisbee in our country is simply called “flying saucer”. This game projectile, which is launched and caught, is a plastic disk with a diameter of 20-25 cm with curved edges, which looks like a plate. It has remarkable aerodynamics and flies well, and is kept in the air by lift. The disc can be launched at different angles - it will fly equally well.

  • The disc appeared, one might say, out of nothing to do - Yale University students, in order to have at least something to do in their free time, threw Frisbie Pie brand baking pans at each other. This activity became so popular that it attracted the attention of Walter Morrison, who designed plates reminiscent of UFOs. In 1955, he made a disk from plastic, later equipped it with a rim and a dome, and since 1957, with the consent of the creator, the products began to be mass-produced by the Wham-O company under the name Frisbee. One letter was changed so as not to incur the righteous wrath of the Frisbie Pie Company.
  • Today, many times more flying discs are sold in the world than footballs, basketballs and baseballs.
  • Frisbee is the most popular sport in the United States. The results of sociologists' research indicate that every American knows about this game, and about 90% have played it at least once.
  • At one time the American Navy was eyeing the saucers with the aim of using them as weapons. More than $400,000 was spent on the study. But apparently something went wrong, since the discs are not used as weapons.
  • According to the channel, the game using the flying disc Ultimate has more than 5 million adherents in the world. Meanwhile, 10 million are required to be included in the Olympic program.
  • Disc games even have their own records. Thus, the longest flight of the disk was 20.52 seconds. It was set by an astronaut from Sweden during an expedition on the Discovery shuttle in 2006. And the distance record was set by the American David Wiggins in 2012. The distance covered by the saucer was 255 m.
Methods of throwing and catching a discus
You can launch the Frisbee in one of two ways:
  • Forehand - throwing a discus with an outstretched arm.
  • Backhand - launching the plate using only the hand, the back of which is located in the direction of the throw.

When mastering any technique, accurate feeding is guaranteed; it is only important to position the disc at the correct angle. To perform a throw, move your wrist.

Unsuccessful shots in company usually cause homeric laughter. You shouldn’t have a complex - only a few people succeed in throwing a plate well the first time. Just practice and everything will work out; the throwing skill develops quite quickly. In order not to feel embarrassed, you can practice in the field or on the road in the absence of witnesses, and then amaze your friends and acquaintances.

It is also necessary to catch the projectile correctly. This is usually done with both hands, trying to predict the trajectory of its movement. Experienced players can catch the plate using one hand. As they say, everything requires skill, skill, and training.

Types of games

The easiest way to play with the disc is to throw it to each other so that it does not fall to the ground. Accordingly, the one who at a certain moment cannot catch the plate loses. But there are a large number of games with more sophisticated rules that make discus throwing more exciting and exciting.

The most common:
  • Ultimate.
  • City Ultimate.
  • Guts.
  • Fluber-gats.
  • Double disc.
  • Freestyle.
  • Disc golf.
  • Frisbee dog.
Ultimate

The most popular game using Frisbee. It is played by teams that line up on both sides of a rectangular court (like volleyball, but without a net). One of the teams attacks, and the other takes a defensive position. The goal of the attackers is to carry the projectile into the opponent’s territory, and the goal of the defenders is to knock it down or force the attacker to hold the disc in their half of the field for 8-10 seconds. If the attempt is successful, the teams change roles. Moving the plate around the field, pushing opponents or blocking shots is not allowed.

Participants in the game who violate the rules are not fined, so there is no refereeing staff. It is expected that each player will behave respectfully and be responsible for their actions. In ultimate there is no concept of winning at any cost; priority is given to the fairness of the game.

City Ultimate

This is an ultimate game in an urban environment, with various obstacles present in the area. Each team has 5-7 players. A mandatory attribute is also a goal for each team - any hill performs its function. A player from one team takes a position in the goal of the other, and members of the opposing team give him a projectile. If the goalkeeper catches the disc, he gets a point. The team that earns the most points wins. You are not allowed to move around the court with the plate, but you can knock it out of your hands.

Guts

A team game in which participants stand opposite each other at a distance of 14 m or more and throw the disc so that the opponent cannot receive the serve. Moreover, catching a plate is allowed only with one hand. If a representative of the opposing team misses, the thrower receives a point. If the throw is incorrect, a point is awarded to the opponent. If the disc is caught, neither team receives a point. To win you need to earn 21 points.

Fluber-gats

They play in teams of two people each, the participants stand opposite each other at a distance of 1-2 meters. The thrower must deliver the projectile so that it flies, spinning vertically, and the opponent does not catch it. You can throw the plate with any part of your body, but holding it close to you is prohibited. The receiver must catch the Frisbee with one hand. If the disc is caught correctly, the team receives a point. If the plate is pressed to the body, or taken with both hands, then the right to move passes to the other side. After 5 throws, the teams switch places. The game continues until one of the teams scores 11 points.

Double disc

A game between teams on a field of two squares called a court. Each team has two participants, and each defends its own square.

The game uses two flying discs. The players of each team try to throw the projectile in such a way that it ends up in the square of the opposite side and remains there. In this case, the flight angle of the disk should be no more than 30 degrees.

At the same time, participants must protect their squares and catch flying disks, preventing them from landing. It is also important not to allow both projectiles to be in the possession of one team at the same time.

You can get 1 or 2 points in the game. 1 point is awarded if the disc hits the other team's square and stays there, as well as if the opponents lose the disc or miss the square.

2 points are awarded when:
  • One player holds two discs.
  • One disc was caught by two players of the opposing team at once, and the other landed in their square.
  • Both projectiles hit the opponents' square and stayed there.
  • One plate hit the opponents, and their player knocked the other out of the field.
Freestyle

This is an individual performance with an apparatus. Its goal is to demonstrate a beautiful and spectacular combination of various tricks using a rotating frisbee, such as rolling the disc over the arms and back, spinning it on the finger, etc.

Freestyle competitions are held, and the complexity of the tricks is assessed by judges. Points are also awarded for the artistry of the performance.

Disc golf

From the name it is clear that the game is an alternative to golf. The role of the balls here is played by a disc, and the role of the hole is played by a basket with a net.

The player's task is to go through the entire court in the order of the baskets with the fewest shots. This game is interesting because it uses different types disks that differ from each other aerodynamic performance. Just like in golf there are different types of clubs. In this game, it is important not only to have perfect throwing skills, but also to be able to choose the type of projectile depending on the situation, and predict the trajectory of its movement.

Frisbee dog

This is a team game with our smaller brothers. Its meaning is that the trainer throws the disc, and his dog catches it. The following types of competitions are held within the framework of this game:

  • The dog must catch the projectile as far as possible.
  • The dog needs to grab the plate in one of the designated areas.
  • The trainer and the dog show tricks with a rotating disk.

Frisbee dog is not only a sport, but also an outdoor activity for pets and their owners, which can brighten up an ordinary walk.

It turns out that playing with a disc is an interesting and universal activity, suitable not only for people of all ages, but even for dogs. To have a fun weekend with the whole family, just take a flying saucer with you to a picnic or to the beach. Positive emotions and a boost of energy will definitely be provided. Or perhaps the game will captivate you so much that you will want to take it up at a professional level.

Frisbee(flying saucer) - a plastic disc for throwing, which is used in various types game of the same name.

The history of frisbee

We can assume that the history of the appearance of flying discs began back in ancient Greece in 400 AD But modern history says that in 1955 a certain Walter Friederich Morrison made a “platter” that flew well over the ground and became a hot commodity (his previous experiments were unsuccessful), and in 1957 flying saucers began to be produced under the brand name “Pluto Platter.” » Wham-O Company in San Gabriel. At the same time, Yale University students came up with an unusual pastime - in their free time from studying, they threw tin pie stands from the Frisbie Pie Company at each other. The name "Frisbee" was popular among students, and was very popular with Wham-O, who renamed their flying saucers Frisbee.

Varieties and rules of Frisbee

There are many varieties of disc games. The simplest is simply the players throwing the plate from hand to hand so that it does not touch the ground.

Ultimate
This is the most famous and popular look games. Two teams play on a rectangular field with designated areas at each end. (the main ones are grass 7x7 m, on sand or in the hall 5x5 m, but options 2x2 and 3x3 m are possible). One team attacks, the other defends. Players of the attacking team must pass to a player of their team who is in the opponent's zone (in this case, a point is counted). If this is not possible, then pass to any other player on their team. The defending team must catch or knock down the disc, or force the opponent to hold the disc for 10 seconds (in room 8). In this case, the disk is lost and the commands change. According to the rules, moving with the disc is prohibited; only one player of the defending team can oppose the player with the disc. Physical contact between opponents is prohibited.

City Ultimate
This type of game takes place in an urban environment, on a site with various obstacles. Teams of 5-7 people. There are gates on the site for each team. A gate is some kind of hill. A point is scored if a player from the attacking team catches the disc within the opponent's goal. Moving around the court with a disc in your hands is also prohibited. The disc can be knocked out of the hands of opponents.

Guts
Also team appearance games, from one to five players each. The goal is to be the first to score 21 points. At the beginning of the game, the opposing teams are placed opposite each other, at a distance of 14 m. The player throws the disc at the opponent in such a way that he cannot catch it. The throw is made into the area limited by the outstretched arms of the opponents. If the throw is incorrect, the receiving team receives a point. Players on the receiving team need to catch the disc with one hand. If they succeed, then the points are not counted to anyone; if they fail, then the team that threw the disc gets a point.

Flutter guts
Two teams of two people each play. The opponents are placed 1-2 meters opposite each other. The task of the participants of the first team is to catch the disc with one hand, the task of the participants of the second is to throw the disc in such a way that the opponents cannot catch it. If the disc is caught, a point is scored. The disc can be tapped with any one part of the body without pressing it to oneself. If the disc is pressed to the body or taken with both hands, then a transition occurs. Every 5 throws the teams switch places. The game goes to 11 points.

Double disc court
The playing field consists of two square courts with sides of 13 m and a distance between them of 17 m. Teams of two people. The game is played simultaneously with two disks. The object of the game is to throw a disc that the opposing players cannot catch, but must still land in the opponent's zone. Another goal is to force opponents to hold two discs at the same time. 1 point is counted if the disc is not caught in the opponent's court area, 2 points if 2 are not caught. If the discs do not hit the opponents' court, then a point (or 2) is counted to the opponent. If a team has two discs at the same time, then 2 points are counted to the opposing team.

Frisbee freestyle
It is an individual sport, although there can also be team competitions. Beautiful and spectacular combinations of tricks and feints performed with a disc are demonstrated. At competitions, judges evaluate the complexity of tricks and artistry by assigning points.

Disc golf
This type of game resembles golf, but instead of balls there is a disc, instead of holes there are special baskets. The goal is the same as when playing golf. You need to cover the distance in the least number of throws, throwing the disc at all targets. There are many different discs used for different throws.

Frisbee dog
The game requires not only a disc, but also a dog. There are several variations of dog frisbee competitions, but what they all have in common is that the trainer must throw the disc and the dog must catch it. There are competitions for distance, accuracy (you need to catch the disc in a certain area), and also for artistry, when people and dogs demonstrate various tricks.

Various Frisbee tournaments and championships are regularly held. The first World Frisbee Championship was held in 1983; since 2001, ultimate has been included in the program World Games which are held under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee

The frisbee game contains best elements American football, European football, basketball and the usual discus throwing game - Frisbee. We will tell you how to play the Ultimate Frisbee game. This is a challenging, intense, strategic game. If you want to learn how to play, you need to remember simple rules, learn to stick to them and create a strategy for the game so that your team wins.

Steps

Part 1

Rules of the game

You need to find a suitable field to play on. Playing Ultimate Frisbee requires a lot of space. This game is usually played on a football field. Also, Ultimate Frisbee can be played in any open area no smaller than 60m by 40m. The field should have two ends where there will be gates.

    • You'll have to make do with the amount of space you have. If you're playing in your yard, that's okay. No need to measure it. Simply set up two end zones or goal zones on both ends of the yard - this will be the goal net for each team.
  1. Break into two teams. Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport. It is played in teams. Each team must have the same number of players.

    • The minimum number of players is 4, 2 players in each team. It will be quite difficult to play with such a small number of players. It is best to have 5-7 players on each team.
    • Standard Ultimate Frisbee teams usually have 7 players per team. The number of players is not limited. Players can be replaced after a goal is scored.
  2. You need to have a suitable frisbee disc. Any throwing disc will do for this. The easiest way to play is with a heavy classic frisbee disc. This helps you better control your serves over long distances. Try to buy a beach disc.

    • Discs weighing 175 grams are most suitable for playing ultimate frisbee. This disc can be purchased at a sporting goods and toy store. Dissraft Ultra Star 175 produces official frisbee discs for national teams of ultimate frisbee players in the United States.
  3. Learn to play. Just like in football or any sport where you need to score a goal, your team has several players who are dedicated to defending their goal or goal zone. They are trying to score a goal at the other end of the field - into the opponent's goal. You need to move the Frisbee disc, passing it to your team's players in order to score a goal.

    • A player holding a Frisbee cannot move and cannot hold the disc for more than 10 seconds. The remaining players must move down the field to try to open themselves up for the pass.
    • If the disc falls to the ground, goes out of bounds, or is intercepted, it goes to the other team.
    • The team that has this moment there is no disc, must try to intercept it, closing the passes for the players of the other team.
  4. You can find a team of Ultimate Frisbee players in your city or country. Usually every major city has at least one team of players who participate in national league. From them you can learn strategy, rules and techniques of the game. You will meet interesting people and have the opportunity to practice playing Ultimate Frisbee.

    Part 2

    Game process
    1. You need to flip a coin. The winner gets a disc. After dividing into two teams and discussing the rules, it is necessary to decide who will get the disc. To do this, you can throw a coin or use any other method, discussing it with all the players.

      • One team must stand on its part of the field and pass the disc to each other, trying to go as far as possible towards the other team's goal. The goal is to score a goal. The rules of the game are a bit like American football.
      • Make sure everyone is ready, then throw the frisbee high in the air towards the other team's goal. All players must run towards the other team's goal to grab the disc, and players on the other team must run to defend the goal.
    2. Score goals by moving the disc over the goal line into the other team's goal zone. Mark a goal zone at the end of the field. By entering this zone with a frisbee, players score a goal. On one side of the field there should be a goal zone of one team, and at the other end of the field there should be a goal zone of the other team, where players with Frisbees in their hands will try to get into.

      • A goal will be scored when one player passes the Frisbee to another player who is standing in the scoring zone, and that player successfully catches the disc. In this case, the defending team is awarded a goal and the disc goes to them.
      • Players can be changed after a goal is scored, but before the frisbee goes to the team that scored the goal.
    3. Never establish contact with players of the other team. This means physical contact. You cannot hold, push or intentionally touch players of another team. It is necessary to block them so that they cannot transmit, but without making direct physical contact.

      • The player who is defending the player with the disc in his hands must count out loud to ten, since he cannot hold the frisbee in his hands for more than ten seconds.
    4. The game usually ends when one team scores fifteen goals. You can change this rule and play until you get bored. Usually one of the teams scores fifteen points, about an hour after the start of the game or an hour and a half later. If you have less time, play to seven or ten points.

You must look after yourself. Ultimate frisbee is a very anarchic game. There is no judge or referee, there are no fouls or long arguments. Players must enforce the rules themselves, be honest and trust others.

      • Sometimes a special caretaker player who does not belong to any team participates in the game. He enforces the rules.

    Part 3

    Game strategy
    1. You need to practice making good throws before you try playing Ultimate Frisbee. Try to throw the frisbee in the right place, for this you need to hold the disk correctly. Place your index and middle finger under the disc, bend two fingers to hold the disc as firmly as possible, bend your body in the direction you are throwing the disc. Step forward with your right foot if you are right-handed. Unbend your body, straighten your wrist, and release the disc in the direction you want to throw it. The frisbee should be parallel to the ground.

Over time, you will learn to make more difficult shots and you will become a better player. You can try to practice throwing a discus, the better you practice, the better you will get at it. For example, the “hammer” movement is performed like this: the index and middle fingers should be placed under the disk, and thumb- on top part. Do not bend your index and middle fingers. Make the motion as if you were throwing a ball. Raise the disc above your head, the disc and your head should form an angle. Make sure the angle is approximately 50-55 degrees. Keeping the same angle, throw the disc forward and upward. The disc should fly perpendicular to the ground for a few seconds, then turn upside down and slowly fly towards the ground. This type of throw is difficult to catch and is mainly used for defense.

      • Try practicing throwing to the side. Place your index and middle fingers under the disc and bend them. Place your thumb on the top of the disc. Bend your body slightly forward, bend and straighten your wrist, releasing the disc. You should twist your arms slightly toward your body as you throw the disc. The disk should spin quite strongly. Practice to execute this throw correctly.
    2. Make quick passes. It is necessary not only to throw the disc accurately, but also to do it quickly enough. Practice making passes quickly and as accurately as possible to other players, moving quickly around the field to make it difficult for the defense. You have ten seconds to throw the Frisbee, but you shouldn't hold the disc for more than five seconds.

      • Don't be afraid to make long passes inside the field. The likelihood of someone catching the disc is not very high, but such a pass provides an opportunity to quickly score a goal.
    3. Give other players on your team time to run to the right part of the field and catch your disc. There is no need to throw the disc directly into the hands of a stationary player. Throw the disc to him so that he moves deep into the field. Make long passes. Try to show the player where you want him to run. Pass the disc to an open place so that it is not intercepted by players of the other team.

    4. Do not hurry. If you see a good place, where you can throw the disc, you don’t need to do it instantly. Concentrate and try to make a good pass, try to throw the disc as accurately as possible. You don't have to make an assist right away. You have a disk in your hands, think about how best to take advantage of this opportunity. Make the most effective pass. Slowly move forward across the field, conquering territory.

      • Just like in football, you can move in any direction when you receive the disc. If you need to make a forward pass to regroup, do it. It is not necessary to go forward all the time, the main thing is not to give the disc to the players of the other team.
    5. Move towards an open area. When you don't have a disc, you need to constantly move around the field. Make sure no one is blocking you. Try to run further away, find an open place on the field. Move constantly and wait for the pass.

      • Learn to cross routes, take shortcuts, move in open spaces across the field, do not move in the same pattern all the time. This will make you harder to block and easier to catch the disc.
    6. Practice walking along the designed routes. As in basketball and football, as well as in any team sport, it is very important to have several game schemes. They are developed by the team before the game starts. You can create several game schemes and give them names. Make sure all players on your team know what formation you are currently playing. This way, you will be able to deceive the defense and score a goal.

      • If the player holding the disc knows which route you will run (according to the agreed pattern), he will be able to make a better pass and it will be more effective.
    7. When you are defending your territory and your goal, you need to block and intercept passes to the opposing team's players. You need to select one of the players and block him during the game so that it is difficult for him to make a pass. Don't leave him even one step. Play defense, you need to try to intercept the disc so that you don't get scored. You can raise your hands, run around the player and try to intercept the pass.

      • The defense must play quite actively and aggressively, do not move away from the player you are blocking. Do not get too close to him or push him, physical contact is prohibited.
      • When you run next to a player, try to watch the movement of his hips, not the disc itself. Always stay between him and the player to whom the pass will most likely be made. Try to intercept her.
    • If you are new to the game and do not know how to throw the disc well, it is better to only throw short passes, this will reduce the likelihood of the disc being intercepted by players on the opposing team.
    • Before the game starts, decide what score you are playing to. Also agree with all players on how to count to ten while the disc is in one player's possession. The player should not hold the disc for too long, so when he receives the frisbee in his hands, the players on the opposing team begin to count out loud to ten. Everyone should count the same way, with the same intervals between seconds.
    • The number of players and the size of the field do not really matter. We told you about the generally accepted rules of the game. If you don't have enough players or a big enough field, you can just play with your friends in the yard. It's not very important. The main thing is to determine the size of the field and the line behind which the goal zone of each team is located.
    • The standard field size is 60x40m. The goal zones of each team must be located 20 meters from the end of the field.

    Warnings

    • The disc is made of hard plastic. If thrown too hard, it can cause minor injury to the player if the disc hits the head, arm or face.
    • Play carefully so as not to harm anyone.
    • Don't forget to drink water.
