How to choose a car for racing?

Essentially, all radio-controlled cars can be divided into two types, regardless of scale and engine. There are road cars and SUVs. Road models and off-road buggies are suitable for racing.

Next point - this is the scale. The type of engine installed in it depends on the scale of your machine. Models 1:8 – 1:24 are perfect for professional racing, because they are equipped with a priori more powerful engines and, accordingly, the speeds will be higher.

Assembled model or ready to race? You can understand which model you see in front of you by the abbreviations on English language. ARR – “almost ready to run”. KIT – prefabricated kit. We recommend assembly models for those who have long been addicted to racing on radio-controlled cars buggy. For beginners and those who don’t want to sweat, we recommend ARR models.

ICE or electric? You need to understand one simple point. For RC car racing electric motors have one important point. You've driven for 15-30 minutes on the highway and your model needs to be charged. You need to have a few batteries in stock for replacement. Recharging the electric motor is easy enough, just replace the battery and continue racing. ICE engines are considered a little more powerful, but their main distinguishing feature from electric ones is that you use fuel, this gives you the chance to plunge into the atmosphere of driving headlong and feel like a real auto mechanic. Choose what is closest to you.

What else to pay attention to to choose a buggy for racing?

Engine power and speed. Look at these two parameters, consult with specialists before purchasing and clarify which maximum speed can develop your car. Is it possible to increase the maximum speed in your model due to additional gadgets? Check all these points.
