  • The battles take place in the 15 vs 15 format in the Standard Battle mode.
  • The duration of the battle is 15 minutes.
  • Victory conditions are the destruction of all enemy equipment or the capture of an enemy base.
  • Maps available in the mode: “Monastery”, “El Halluf”, “Cliff”, “Ensk”, “Lost City”, “Highway”, “Himmelsdorf”, “Karelia”, “Live Oaks”, “Lasville”, “ Malinovka", "Pass", "Murovanka", "Paris", "Industrial Zone", "Prokhorovka", "Redshire", "Sandy River", "Quiet Bank", "Siegfried Line", "Steppes", "Tundra".
  • This mode cannot be played in a platoon.

Season

The duration of the season is 21 days.

The exact schedule of battles will be available in the game client.

Chevrons

  • Players who take 1st-3rd place on the winning team receive two chevrons.
  • Players finishing 4th-10th on the winning team and 1st on the losing team receive one chevron.
  • Players who took 11-15th places on the winning team and 2-5th places on the losing team retain the chevron.
  • Players finishing 6th-15th on the losing team lose their chevron.
  • In case of a tie, both teams are considered losers.
  • If several players on a winning or losing team have earned the same amount of experience, then all these players receive or keep chevrons. The same scheme applies when players with the same amount of experience occupy the highest place.

Divisions and ranks

There are 15 ranks available within each division.

The number of chevrons in the first season required to advance to the next rank is as follows:

Rank protection

  • If a player has protection at the current rank, he can retain his rank if he loses a chevron.
  • The strength of the defense is reduced if the player loses a chevron following a battle.
  • The first battle that the chevron brings will completely restore the defense.
  • At rank 10, the defense completely loses strength after two battles in which the player had to lose rank.
  • At rank 13, the defense completely loses strength after one battle in which the player had to lose rank.

Leagues

According to the performance indicator, after passing the qualifications and all divisions, players are distributed into leagues:

  • Golden League: first 20% of players.
  • Silver: next 30% of players.
  • Bronze: next 50% of players.

In a league setting, a player can continue to accumulate chevrons and influence their overall performance and position in the season's leaders.

Balancer

  • The balancer seeks to select teams from players within the same rank in a specific division. If this cannot be done, then the boundaries of the ranks available for selection expand.
  • The compositions of the teams are mirrored in terms of the ranks of the participants in the battle.
  • The balancer does not take into account players' affiliation to a specific league when forming teams.
  • If within five minutes it is not possible to assemble teams for a ranked battle, then it is not created, and the players return to the Hangar.

Leaders of the season

  • Ranking in the Season Leaders table is based on the player’s overall performance.
  • If two or more players have the same efficiency, the remaining parameters of the season are sequentially compared:
    • average experience;
    • average damage.
  • If all parameters match, the players will be placed in the league of the one who took the highest position.
  • The season leaderboard becomes available in the client and on the portal when the season starts.
  • The Season Leaders table is updated every 15 minutes.

Awards

Season Rewards

Annual Awards

The level of access to the annual reward is determined by the number of rank tokens earned within the seasons of the year.

Rank tokens are awarded for completing each division and for entering leagues. Rank tokens are awarded at the end of the season.

Thus, in one season a player can receive up to 5 rank tokens.

Violations and penalties in ranked battles

The same rules apply in ranked battles as in random ones. All penalties are imposed in accordance with the Game Rules and the License Agreement. In case of violation of clauses 2.1.2 or 2.1.5 of the Rules of the Game (fixed battles), clause 2.1.7 of the Rules of the Game (botting), clause 4.2.9 of the License Agreement (use of prohibited modifications), clause 2.1.3 of the Rules of the Game (boosting) accounts of other users), as well as other serious violations, the violator will be excluded from the list of winners during and at the end of the season of ranked battles and before the distribution of awards based on the results of the season.

Due to the reworking of the system for damaging allies in ranked battles (the abolition of causing damage to allied vehicles and damaging their modules), stunning allies with artillery in battles in this mode is equivalent to causing damage to allied vehicles and damaging their modules (“team damage”). For stunning allied vehicles in this case, the player may be fined or blocked according to the rules for imposing punishment for “team damage”.

All restrictions for “teamdamage” and “teamkill” are issued by an automatic system without the intervention of User Support Center employees. Please note: the system takes into account the complex of all possible circumstances accompanying a particular violation, both mitigating and aggravating. The terms of restrictions imposed by the automatic system are not subject to appeal.

What are ranked battles?

This is new Game Mode in the “15 vs 15” format only for Tier X vehicles. The team that destroys all enemy equipment or captures their base wins. Essentially the conditions are the same as in random battles, but the main objective- show high personal effectiveness in battle and move up the rankings, earning ranks and awards. The higher the combat effectiveness, the higher the rank in the special rating of ranked battles. Read about how to select the desired mode and play it.

How does the balancer work in ranked battles?

The main goal of the balancer is to assemble a battle from players of the same rank. The balancer aims to send you into battle with players of your level, which means the higher your rank, the stronger the enemy will be.

Sometimes, in order to avoid a long queue, a battle may take place with teams of players of different ranks. The longer a tanker waits for a battle, the less strict the rules apply to creating a battle. However, the number of players of a certain rank in teams will always be the same.

Is only standard combat used or can you get into an assault?

Just a standard fight.

How long will the ranked season last and what is the prime time schedule?

How to get ranks?

To get a rank, you need to earn a certain number of chevrons. The higher your position in earned experience among allies, the more likely you are to receive a chevron.

How are chevrons credited or debited?

In the winning team, the top 10 players in terms of experience earned receive chevrons. Players who ranked 1st-3rd in experience on the winning team receive an additional chevron.

On the losing team, the chevron is awarded to the player who takes first place in experience earned.

Players of the losing team who took 2nd–5th places keep their chevrons.

Players of the losing team who took 6th–15th places lose chevrons.

If the match ends in a draw, both teams are considered losers. In this case, only the best players of both teams receive the chevron. The rest keep or lose their tokens - depending on the place occupied in the team at the end of the battle.

The number of tokens you need to earn to advance to the next rank increases as you progress from rank 1 to 15. You will find information about how many tokens you need to increase your rank and how many remain to earn after selecting ranked battles in the mode menu to the right of the “Battle!” button. The tokens will be displayed below the button.

What are divisions?

In the new season, participants in ranked battles will have to go through 4 divisions one after another, with 15 ranks in each:

  • Qualifying,
  • Third,
  • Second,
  • First.

All competitors begin the season in the Qualifying Division. If you move to a higher division, you will no longer be able to fly out of it - at most you will return to the initial rank of the current division.

The first rank of each division is fireproof. Rank 10 and 13 in each division have loss protection:

  • At rank 10 - two unsuccessful battles.
  • At rank 13 - one unsuccessful battle.

If you exceed the defense limit, you will return to the previous rank. However, if you earn a token in an unsuccessful battle, your loss protection will be restored.

Depending on the effectiveness of your play in each division, you will receive a special reward - a certain number of bonus battles.

What are prize fights? How are they calculated?

Prize fights are your reward for successful play within the division. The principle of their operation is similar to the system of double experience for the first battle: once a day on a certain machine you can earn twice as many tokens. If the prize fight was unsuccessful, it is not written off - and you can try again.

You can see if you have any prize battles in the Hangar in the image of your current rank.

Vehicles for which bonus battles are available are marked with a special icon on the vehicle panel.

The number of bonus battles you will receive after playing in a division depends on your performance. Efficiency is the ratio of the number of chevrons received to the number of battles you played in the division.

Conditions for awarding prize battles

Based on the results of passing the Qualifying, Third and Second Divisions:

  • with efficiency from 0 to 10% - 2 bonus battles;
  • with an efficiency of 10 to 20% - 3 bonus battles;

  • with efficiency from 40 to 60% - 5 bonus battles;
  • with efficiency from 60 to 90% - 6 bonus battles;

  • with an efficiency of 10 to 20% - 8 bonus battles;
  • with efficiency from 20 to 40% - 10 bonus battles;
  • with an efficiency of 40 to 60% - 13 bonus battles;
  • with efficiency from 60 to 90% - 15 bonus battles;
  • with efficiency from 90 to 120% - 18 bonus battles;
  • with efficiency from 120 to 160% - 20 bonus battles;
  • with efficiency from 160 to 250% - 23 bonus battles;
  • with an efficiency of over 250% - 25 bonus battles.

What are prize leagues? How to get there?

After you reach the maximum rank of 15 in each division, you will be placed in one of three prize leagues. Which one depends on your efficiency.

  • Golden League. It will include 20% of players who showed the highest efficiency.
  • Silver League. The next 30% of players in terms of efficiency will fight in it.
  • Bronze League. The remaining 50% of players will end up here.

The principle of playing in prize leagues is the same as in divisions: you must fight as effectively as possible and earn as much experience as possible. If your efficiency improves, you will move into a more big league. If it goes down, you'll go back to the lower one.

What is role-playing experience?

Role-playing experience is additional experience that you will receive after a battle if you not only caused damage, destroyed opponents and helped allies, but also acted in accordance with the role of your equipment in battle. For example, a heavy tank should block shells and deal damage in close combat, while ambush, weakly armored tank destroyers should deal as much damage as possible from long distances.

There are a total of seven combat vehicle roles within the season.

  • Defender. This role is suitable for most heavy tanks.
  • Fire support. A role for medium tanks with modest armor, but comfortable guns and good mobility.
  • Light attack aircraft. Role for universal medium tanks with rational armor or sedentary medium tanks with good armor.
  • Heavy attack aircraft. The role is best suited to tank destroyers or heavy tanks with a magazine loading system.
  • Sniper. Role for ambush lightly armored tank destroyers.
  • Scout. Best suited for light tanks.
  • Artillery. The role of self-propelled guns.

During a battle, a successful role-playing action of your vehicle is marked in the event feed with a special icon. You will find the exact amount of additional experience in the post-battle statistics.

How does the economy of ranked battles work?

In addition to the standard reward based on the results of the battle, you will receive additional experience for successfully completing role-playing actions. You can see its quantity in the post-battle statistics.

You will also be rewarded for achieving ranks. Along with the next rank you can get:

  • bonds,
  • loans,
  • gold,
  • days of tank premium account,
  • in-game property (such as equipment or pre-combat instructions).

To view all possible rewards and the conditions for receiving them, click on the chevron image under the “Battle!” button. in the Hangar, and then to the “Rewards” tab on the left side of the screen.

What are bonds?

Bonuses are a special game currency that cannot be purchased with credits or gold. For bonds, you can purchase various in-game items, including pre-battle instructions and improved equipment, which significantly increase the efficiency of the vehicle and the parameters of the crew.

What are pre-combat instructions?

This the new kind equipment that is used to enhance the characteristics of a vehicle or crew. Pre-battle instructions can improve the equipment installed on your vehicle, increasing the bonus from it, or enhance the skill of the crew.

You can only supply one instruction per machine. After it is used in battle, you will need to purchase a new one.

How many Can pre-battle instructions be used simultaneously?

Only one.

Do pre-combat instructions work with standard equipment?

Yes, pre-combat instructions work with any equipment.

By earning chevrons based on the results of battles, players advance through ranks and divisions. The best of the best get into prize leagues.

  • Tier X vehicles
  • Standard Battle Rules
  • Rank balancer
  • Seasonality

Ranks

Each division has 15 ranks. The starting rank is always fireproof. In addition, the 10th and 13th ranks in each division have protection against loss - before losing a rank, you can fight a certain number of unsuccessful battles without consequences:

  • at rank 10, protection against loss is lost after two unsuccessful battles;
  • at rank 13 - after one unsuccessful battle.

If after an unsuccessful battle you were able to earn a chevron, protection against loss of rank is restored.

Divisions and leagues

There are four divisions in Ranked Battles:

  • Qualifying division
  • Third Division
  • Second Division
  • First Division

Once you get into a division, you will never go down to the previous one. In the worst case, you will return to the starting rank of the current division.

Having received rank 15 in the First Division, you are placed in one of the prize leagues: Bronze, Silver or Gold. The effectiveness of the game in all completed divisions influences which league you end up in.

If you are part of one of the leagues, then at the end of the season you will receive.

Please note: each transition from one division to the next, as well as entering leagues, earns you a Rank Token. Accumulate Rank Tokens and receive them for them.

Game efficiency

Game efficiency— this is the ratio of the number of chevrons received to the number of battles fought. It is the efficiency of the game that determines which league you will end up in after completing all four divisions.

First, efficiency is calculated separately for each division. Based on your performance, you receive .

When you pass all divisions and get into the prize league, your overall efficiency— average value of efficiency indicators by division.

According to the performance indicator, after passing the qualifications and all divisions, players are distributed into leagues:

  • Golden League - the first 20% of players;
  • Silver League - the next 30% of players;
  • Bronze League - next 50% of players.

Prize fights

If you showed high performance in a division, then when you move to the next division you will receive bonus fights. The principle of bonus battles is similar to the system of daily double experience: once a day for a specific vehicle, chevrons received in battle are automatically doubled. If you do not receive chevrons for a battle, then the prize battle is not deducted and you can try again.

The presence of bonus battles can be seen in the Hangar in the image of your current rank. Vehicles for which bonus battles are available are indicated by a special icon on the vehicle panel.

Role-playing experience

Role-playing experience is awarded after a battle if you not only regularly deal damage and assist in destroying the enemy, but act according to the role of your equipment in battle. For example, a heavy tank should block enemy shells and deal damage in close combat, while ambush, weakly armored tank destroyers should deal maximum damage from long range.

There are seven main roles for vehicles on the battlefield:

  • Defender
  • Fire support
  • Light attack aircraft
  • Heavy attack aircraft
  • Sniper
  • Scout
  • Artillery

New mode and new season ranked battles only for tenth levels, after many experiments, create something new but in the old way (perhaps this is ranking players by skill?).

Battles, as usual, will be carried out 15 tanks against 15 tanks, without platoons, pure skill. In ranked battles, the balancer will distribute players by Rank, equal rank versus equal rank, for the same conditions, but there will also be plus/minus one rank and this is normal.

Ranked battles 2019 – New season

Ranks in WoT

Such battles will take place in a standard format: 2 teams of 15 players. The peculiarity is that only level 10 tanks will participate in the battles.

The battle conditions correspond to the random battle mode: the team that completely destroys the opponents' tanks or captures the base wins.

However, this is where the analogy ends. The key feature of a ranked battle is personal results. The essence of the idea is as follows: by showing high performance in the game, tankers will move up the rankings, increasing their rank, receiving interesting awards and prizes.
If a tanker gets into the top 12 of the winners or the top 3 of the losing squad, he receives a chevron. Chevrons are the key to obtaining the next rank. To rise to the first step in the ranking and become the owner of the first rank, one chevron is enough, but then the conditions will gradually become more complicated.

It should be clarified that ranks 1 and 5 are kind of checkpoints that save game progress. Essentially, these are starting points from which players can move further in the ranking system.

Curiously, rank 5 is the maximum possible for an account. Having reached the top, the rank of the vehicle begins to increase. The same principle applies here: personal contribution to the outcome of the battle increases the rank of the tank.
You win in ranked battles, you progress and receive new ranks. Number of ranks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - rank.
You're losing — the first top 3 players of the losing team not only do not lose rank, but also continue to move up upon reaching the highest rank. The first and fifth ranks are non-combustible.
What to do if you reach rank 5 in World of Tanks? New opportunities open up for players, and vehicle ranks appear. The more ranks of cars you farm, the more high place you will rank in the final table.

Season of Ranked Battles

Ranked battles are divided into seasons. Seasons of ranked battles were deliberately not very long - only a MONTH. Within the season, ranked battles are divided into stages. Where after each stage the results will be reset. At the end of each season, a table of the best players is formed - these are LEAGUES, there will be three leagues in total. Best players will enter the first league, those in the middle will enter the second league and the rest will enter the third. All rewards in ranked battles will be awarded based on the results of the seasons.

The main reward for ranked battles will be special boxes containing boosters, credits, free experience, even in-game gold. Added specifically for ranked battles new reward in the form of BONKS, which will give additional motivation to players. We worked to the smallest detail and took into account the experience of previous regimes.

For bonds you can buy two types of rewards:
— improves the characteristics of the crew, but only lasts for one battle.
— increased performance of conventional equipment installed on the tank. They will be very expensive and in BONKS.
Pre-battle instructions and advanced equipment can be used together to maximize the strength of the tank. In the future, the possibility of adding BONKS to other World of Tanks modes is being considered - it’s just a matter of time.

Changes in the economy. Ranked battles provide an additional funding system. Players are awarded a standard number of credits based on the results of the battle, plus financial bonuses are added for obtaining the next rank and completing special missions. Prize equipment and personal reserves are added to this. When the season of ranked battles comes to an end, participants are awarded bonds - a new monetary unit that cannot be purchased in the game store. Bonds are spent on the purchase of modernized equipment and “Pre-combat briefing”, which significantly improve the performance of the crew and the vehicle as a whole. The number of bonds awarded depends on the player’s performance.

In the future, there will most likely be new ways to earn BONKS, but for now, in update 9.19 it is planned that ranked battles will be the only way.

Bonds- new WoT currency, earned exclusively in the Republic of Belarus. Bonuses cannot be purchased, but can only be earned in the game, which are credited after the end of the season/stage. You can spend Bonuses on new equipment added in patch 9.19.

Improved equipment - increased performance of conventional equipment installed on the tank. They will be very expensive and in BONKS.

Improved equipment purchased with bonds, where you cannot use two identical equipment on one tank. Installed in slots with conventional equipment. The cost in bonds is high, and can also be removed for 10 gold units.

Pre-battle instructions - improve the characteristics of the crew, but only last one battle. Also, a new slot is added for additional BUFFS (pre-battle instructions), something similar to additional gold equipment that adds bonuses to equipment or crew, but only for one battle.
Pre-combat instructions - for equipment.
Increases the effect of installed equipment.
Pre-combat instructions - for crew.
It helps to upgrade a perk for one battle or improve an existing one, but you cannot get two effects at the same time.

Use all the introduced innovations for bonds for absolutely any class of equipment and level, for all types of battles.
