Winner of the KHL final 2017-2018

The current victor of the hockey championship is St. Petersburg SKA. The team of Ilya Kovalchuk in the final series confidently undressed Metallurg Magnitogorsk with a score of 4:1. But all this is history. Let's try to figure out who can really try on the hockey crown KHL season 2017/18.

West

In the western part of the KHL, two "army" monsters make the weather - SKA and CSKA. Petrograders have more preferable chances. SKA takes first place in standings regular season. St. Petersburg "soldiers" are more sophisticated in the final battles. The team plays pragmatic hockey. It is not always interesting to watch the games of the St. Petersburg team, but Oleg Znarka's team gets their points regularly.

Also, experts highly appreciate the chances of the Finnish Jokerit, showing extraordinary agility in the regular season, and the Yaroslavl Lokomotiv.

East

As cutesy girls on VKontakte like to say, “everything is complicated.” The once formidable Metallurg is no longer a cake. But no one is in a hurry to take the vacant position of the leader of the KHL Eastern Conference. There is a tough nut to crack Avangard, Salavat Yulaev, who survived their best days, and the ambitious Ak Bars. So far, Ak Bars has the most real chances to play in the final. Kazan aspires to once again become the No. 1 hockey club in Russia. So far, they are the first in the standings of the East. But history remembers many examples when the leader of the regular championship failed in the playoffs ...
