Book exhibition "The ABC of Health". On the path to health: a range of library ideas Description of a book exhibition on a healthy lifestyle

Dear readers! From October 19, 2016 There is a literature exhibition in the reading room of the branch library "Healthy lifestyle".

In a healthy body healthy mind! This is what folk wisdom says. Health is what helps us achieve our goals, lead an active life, make our dreams come true and what helps us overcome difficulties. Healthy lifestyle is a set of consciously formed human habits aimed at preventing diseases, maintaining and strengthening health and creative longevity.

Exhibition sections:

  • Physical activity
  • Don't develop bad habits
  • Healthy balanced diet
  • Correctly combine work and rest

Everyone knows that the main factor is physical activity. Sports activities strengthen the body and prolong life. Regardless of age, you need to regularly make time for exercise.

Giving up bad habits plays an important role in health. You need to understand that by quitting smoking, a person increases the duration and quality of his life. If you allow alcohol to be in your life, sooner or later you will face problems. Be it on a social level, be it on a physical level. Alcohol affects all organs and systems of the human body. Significantly reduces life expectancy.

On the shelves of the exhibition, the reader can find information in books and articles from magazines about how to take care of your health in order not to get sick, to be strong and healthy, how to preserve your eyesight, about proper nutrition, about bad habits and recommendations for their prevention.

We invite everyone!

Sport is a noble cause. Character is developed in sports. A person involved in sports cannot be dishonest or ignoble. A person who played sports in his youth retains the desire for success throughout his life. The desire to be first and win remains with a person forever in life. Therefore, I suggest you take a tour of the book exhibition “25 best books about sports"

For fans who like not only to watch sports events, but also to read about them.Weprepared a selection of the best books about sports. Autobiographies of athletes, books about sports for children, works of fiction, books about the history of sports and even one “beer” book, excuse me, “Guinness Book of Records”your attention. Children about sports: the best books and fairy tales about training and victories

Acquaintance with “sports themes” begins with children's poems, with “Charging” by Agnia Barto and “On Skates” by Sasha Cherny. And then skates, balls and clubs accompany us constantly. A boy named Tolik with a magic box of matches in his pocket dreams of becoming an excellent hockey player, Munchkins and Wingers play volleyball, and the charm of winter makes Hemulen take up skiing.

Gelsomino scores the ball into the opponent's goal with the power of his voice - and, for the sake of justice, rectifies the situation with an own goal. Maybe he doesn’t really want to - but “otherwise what will sport turn into”? Old man Hottabych knows little about sports, so he considers it normal to interrupt a football match by bringing down an abundance of multi-colored morocco swords on the heads of the players, and then force the goal to play along with one of the teams.

Even bugs and spiders do not remain indifferent to the sport. From the stadium "Zhukamo" Writer Vitaly Bianki and artist Elena Netskaya are reporting: Swift-footed Beetles compete in running, Horses compete in jumping, and Scarabs compete in ball rolling. Sports competitions are organized by the inhabitants of the world of insects and in Ondřej Sekora's fairy tale “Ants, Go.” The main character, the ant Ferda, trains his team and strives for victory, despite any obstacles.

There is also a special magical sport - for wizards. Quidditch is played on broomsticks: seven players, four balls; speed, agility - and the sportsmanship of real team competitions. And, of course, magic - a small golden flying ball-snitch remembers the one who caught it first, and also gives as many as 150 points! And wizards, it turns out, are no less gambling than Muggles, so Quidditch tournaments are treated with great attention.

Sport is a rewarding topic. After all, this is a universal background, thanks to which events and characters are revealed more clearly. Sport means honesty, determination, noble competition. Only people with a pure heart and good intentions achieve success - remember "Silver Skates" M. M. Dodge. Passion for ice skating not only brightens the difficult life of Hans and Gretel, it ultimately brings happiness to their home. For teenagers The middle of the 19th century was also characterized by bright dreams of competitions and a feeling of genuine joy when the goal was achieved.

Krapivinsky boys go in for sailing, fencing, and archery. They are honest, straightforward, brave, knowing the value of friendship and ready to fight injustice. And it can be noted that not only sport shapes character, but, on the contrary, a coward or a deceiver will not stay in sport.

In Soviet times, there were especially many children's stories about sports. The topic became actualized by itself: after all, these books are about self-development, cultivating willpower and the best character traits. And an essential element in the life of any teenager. Alisa Selezneva plays volleyball beautifully, and on the pages of “New Adventures of Electronics” a lot of attention is paid to the description of this game. Realities pass, but the topic does not become obsolete: today you can find re-releases of “Flute for the Champion” by Valery Medvedev, “The Fourth Height” by Elena Ilyina, “The Walk of the White Queen” by Lev Kassil.

Today they also write about sports, and not just in passing. For example, not long ago a book was published "When I grow up, I will become a hockey player" Mikhail Sanadze. This is both a detective story and an educational book about hockey. The main character, Seva Mikhailov, finds an autographed hockey stick in the attic. According to family legend, this stick belonged to one of the Soviet hockey players who took gold at the 1956 Winter Olympics, and Seva wants to find out who exactly - which means she will have to dive headlong into the history of hockey.

Modern teenage stories about athletes are the stories of young tennis players, figure skaters, and gymnasts. “Ice Princess” tells about the girl Masha, who came to sports as a child and persistently followed her goal, “Queen of Gymnastics, or the Road to Victory” - about two girl gymnasts who first competed with each other and then became friends. A real athlete cannot have a black and envious heart, and honest work is rewarded with victory and medals.

Educational literature, as a rule, is devoted to one or another sport. For example, "Running and Walking" Evgenia Yartseva - a book about all sports disciplines related to running, from walking to marathon. It contains historical facts, interesting information, and excursions into the history of different cultures. And “My First Book About Football” by Clive Gifford talks about the rules, all the important techniques and tricks, equipment and famous football players.

The brave and dexterous / disease does not catch up.

So that the sick do not have to lie / we must respect sports.

Anyone who plays sports gains strength.

NaPRolom Alexey Yagudin 4.407 31 readers 3 reviews 1 quote Olympic champion, one of the most eligible bachelors in Russia and America, the greatest figure skater Alexey Yagudin is back! Having undergone a unique operation on his hip, the eternal sports revolutionary is going to once again storm the Olympic peak, while simultaneously performing in various shows. In his book, Yagudin shocks with his frankness and complete lack of desire to please the reader. Alexey, with his characteristic straightforwardness and self-irony, talks about everything that happened to him on the ice and off it. As befits a truly strong person, Yagudin does not hide his tears and mistakes.
The novel “Goalkeeper of the Republic” by Lev Abramovich Kassil is one of the very first in our fiction and the most popular works on a sports theme. Written in 1938, the novel was published both in the USSR and in a number of foreign countries. The famous movie "Goalkeeper" was based on it. The book not only tells a fascinating story about the glory and skill of Soviet athletes, but also gives a broad, unique picture of the life, quests and thoughts of the younger generation in the first two decades of the October Revolution. Much of what is said in the novel (the connection between work and sports, the life of an experienced youth workers' commune, issues of friendship, camaraderie, collectivism) echoes a number of moments in the lives of our youth today. For this publication, the author has prepared a new edition addressed to middle and high school students.

Why are these sports the most beneficial? (All muscle groups are included in the work)

The series "Nastya and Nikita" came out with an excellent educational book about the Olympic Games. It tells in a simple and accessible way about the history of the games, about their traditions and symbolism, about old and new awards, about the first Olympians and innovations of the twentieth century, in general, about everything related to this topic that is in demand today.

Despite the fact that modern authors do not often put sport in the spotlight as it was in teenage stories about forty years ago, in many books it latently accompanies positive characters. Fair competition and personal growth, nurturing positive moral qualities and a strong spirit are an integral part of sports trials. And, of course, it’s nice to just go for a run on ice skates, ride a bike or ski, especially since at the end of any trip there will probably be some kind of adventure.

Solving the rebus.

SLAVKA POBEROVA - GIRAFFE

The book by Czech author Slavka Poberova tells about the psychological difficulties of a teenage girl who connected her life with sports; talks about the mental trauma of a basketball player. The book widely shows the lifestyle of Prague residents and provincials, their way of life, morals, hobbies, one of which is the Spartakiad - traditionally a family holiday. The giraffe is an awkward girl, awkward, she is touchy and sometimes rude, but she is also charming. The girl-girl Helena does not commit heroic deeds; her “dawn of foggy youth” passes in the greenhouse conditions of family goodwill. But her endless ocean of feelings, her nervous pain over a conventionally deep drama allow us to penetrate into the innermost depths of a girl’s soul. For a wide range of readers

Remember the words of M. Tsvetaeva “What you know in childhood, you know for the rest of your life, but what you don’t know in childhood, you don’t know for the rest of your life.”

Man is the highest creation of nature. But in order to enjoy it
treasures, he must at least meet one requirement: to be healthy.”

What sports do you know?

Which sport do you prefer? Show us and we'll try to guess.

Guess what sport these items belong to: ball, glasses, puck, tennis ball?

They play on a rectangular field, with goals set opposite each other. The goal of the game is to score the ball into the opponents' goal. It’s called “playing the ball with just your feet.” (Football)

This is a type of wrestling in which you are allowed to trip, sweep, and grab your opponent with your hands below the waist. (Freestyle wrestling)

In their sports equipment, these players resemble medieval knights clad in steel armor. They put on shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads, leather gloves, and a helmet. It’s impossible otherwise - collisions at high speed, falls and hits on the board are inevitable. (Hockey)

The ball almost hits the ground, one of the players falls and manages to lift it into the air. The second player sends the ball to the third, standing at the net, and he, jumping high, hits it hard through the net. (Volleyball)

The competition is held on a short but very winding track, marked with dozens of so-called gates - red, blue or yellow flags placed in pairs. The athlete must pass all the gates, otherwise he is eliminated from the competition. (Alpine skiing, slalom)

Translated from English, the name of this sport is denoted by two words: “basket” and “ball”. (Basketball)

Game "Palisade"

You need to “collect” the letters in order: from the largest to the smallest, and you will learn what you need to do to be healthy.

April 7 Yegorlyk children's library and together with RDK "Rodina" for second-graders of Yegorlyk secondary school No. 1 (class teacher Zaitseva E.A.), prepared and conducted educational and game program "The ABC of Health" dedicated to World Health Day.

Presenter Bespalova M.V. introduced the children to the history of the holiday and invited schoolchildren to climb the steps of health.

At the beginning of the game, they were asked to answer questions such as: “What is a daily routine?”, “What does proper nutrition mean?”, “What refers to a healthy lifestyle?”,

“What is more valuable than anything in the world?”, remember the proverbs about health.

The children actively answered all the questions asked, took part in an intellectual quiz and sports relay races.

Most of all, the schoolchildren were interested in the game “Daily Routine”, where each participant had to correctly talk about their daily routine, and then Snegovskaya N.P., head. service department, reviewed the books presented at the book exhibition “Grow Beautiful and Strong.”

In such a playful, exciting way, the organizers tried to convey to the children the important rules of a healthy lifestyle: maintaining a daily routine, hardening the body, playing sports.

Deputy director for work with children A.V. Fedorenko

Republican Children's and Youth Library of Chuvashia.

The library has developed a comprehensive targeted library program “Your life - your choice” for 2009 - 2013.” The library announced a republican competition of creative works among children and adolescents “To the future without risk” in two categories: “advertising poster”, "photo collage" The purpose of the competition is to increase the prestige of a healthy lifestyle, to develop in children and adolescents behavioral skills that lead to health and prevent substance abuse.

As part of the program, along with traditional events (film training: “This is not life”, “Fatal pleasure. Flirting with death”, “About the dangers of smoking”; health lessons: “Stop and think”, “A healthy generation for the new century”; disco- lectures “I choose life”, Health Weeks, reader conferences, role-playing games, trainings, debates, brainstorming sessions), the library uses creative forms of work. On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Addiction, a youth volunteer event “Everything is in your hands. Think!” was held in Doriss Park.

A reading conference on Ekaterina Vilmont's story "The Secret of a Suspicious Professor" was held. In his work, the author raises the problems of the moral formation of modern teenagers. Legal Adviser at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chuvash Republic Nadezhda Gavrilova took part in the reading conference. During the discussion, the guys were able to express their attitude not only to the spread of smoking and drinking alcohol among teenagers, but also about the participation of teenagers in the organized fight against drug trafficking and drug traffickers. And Nadezhda Alekseevna explained to the children, using examples from book characters, how to act in such situations without putting their lives in danger.

The events within the framework of World No Smoking Day (May 27, brainstorming “Attack on Tobacco, Fight Smoking”) and World No Smoking Day (November 19, brainstorming “What is advertising not saying?”) were very interesting and informative.

During a brainstorming session among teenagers “Attack on tobacco, the fight against smoking,” the guys looked at slides with a commentary from a narcologist, “The tobacco epidemic - what will happen to all of us.” After discussing the reasons for addiction to tobacco, the children were given a specific task - to find an alternative to each reason for starting to use cigarettes. Each member of the group was able to express their thoughts regarding its decision without any evaluation from peers, which allowed the birth of innovative ideas for quitting smoking by the teenagers themselves.

After each event, a user satisfaction survey was conducted. The results showed that the children liked the events; the topic is very relevant today. In the questionnaires, the guys stated that during the events they received useful, necessary information that will be useful to them in the future.

Republican Youth Library of Tatarstan

Library specialists have developed a comprehensive system of thematic events. These are republican competitions, promotions, meetings, cycles of information and educational programs, meetings in the youth intellectual club "MIK", psychological trainings and workshops. Various events were carried out aimed at creating a high-quality information and educational environment on the entire range of issues in the life of young people, meeting the diverse interests of young people: sports, education, work, career, social and personal life, organization of free time and much more.

RUB initiated the republican competition “Oh, sport, you are the world!”, dedicated to the Year of Sports and Healthy Lifestyle in Tatarstan. The competition, organized by the library together with the newspaper “Vybor”, aroused great interest among its participants. The topics of the questions concerned the achievements of Tatarstan athletes at the national, European, world championships and the Olympic Games. Young people from many cities and towns of the republic and Kazan took part in the competition: students of secondary schools, vocational lyceums, and secondary specialized institutions. The competition showed that young people love sports, know their heroes and the results of their achievements at the highest level competitions.

In order to provide wider information on the most pressing topics, thematic folders have been prepared: “Sport is a saving force”, “Towards the Summer Universiade 2013”. Problem-oriented databases were regularly updated: “Youth World”, “Universiade”, “Healthy Lifestyle and Drug Addiction Prevention”.

The library operates a social and moral center "Iceberg", aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventing asocial phenomena among young people. Group information at the center was provided through permanent book exhibitions “Your health is in your hands”, “Being healthy is fashionable”, “If a teenager gets into trouble”; "News in Psychology".

The main form of group work of a psychologist in the library remained

psychological workshops and trainings. The main purpose of psychological workshops is to provide psychological assistance in establishing an emotional connection both with family and friends, and with other people, in the formation of a conscious attitude towards oneself, the ability to get along with others, in preparation for important stages in life, such as mastering a profession and difficulties associated with this. After attending psychological workshops, most children begin to think about the significance of their own “I”, and awareness of one’s own significance increases self-esteem, gives confidence in one’s abilities, and makes life more fulfilling.

Workshops were held in the library: “We and They” - a workshop aimed at accepting not only one’s own, but also someone else’s position, “Family Constellations” - discussed psychological problems arising in connection with violation of roles in the family, “Loyalty to oneself” - development self-motivation skills, the ability to cope with stress and overload, “Basics of everyday diplomacy” - how to say “no” and not offend, “Positive self-persuasion” - the development of positive self-persuasion - the basis for the prevention of asocial phenomena and the formation of life-affirming positions; “Live in peace with yourself and others” - determines and corrects the style of communication and response in conflicts; “I + you”, “Don’t block the sun for me” - (codependency) the correct behavior of codependent people is programmed; “Slaves and Masters” - how to become a psychologically independent person.

In order to intensify the work of the republic's libraries in organizing events aimed at sports and health education of young people, promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as improving the forms and methods of working with teenagers and young people, an instructional and methodological letter has been developed on holding the Year of Youth and Sports in the libraries of the republic "Library and youth: the path to health”, posted on the RUB website. This publication contains a number of recommendations for organizing blitz surveys, questionnaires, competitions and many other library events in libraries that are distinguished by originality and unconventional presentation of material. For example, it is proposed to open sports literature halls, introduce the “Read and you will win!” project, hold entertaining events “Sprint reading”, “Library orientation”, “Reader’s race” and many other proposals.

The main and leading specialists of the RSL developed a methodological consultation "The role of the library in the popularization of mass sports and physical culture within the framework of the Year of Sports", which was used during two regional seminars for librarians of regional central library centers, as well as during the Information Day "Youth. Education Library" for school librarians in Kazan.

Together with the cultural department of the administration of the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan, a seminar “Problems of moral education. Promotion of a healthy lifestyle” was held with the invitation of heads of library branches and psychologists of educational institutions of the city.

Komi Republican Youth Library.

The library event “Drugs will not pass!” was held at the library. Literature reviews and a book exhibition “Faith, Hope, Love” were prepared. Readers were given bookmarks with anti-tobacco advertising and tips on how to quit smoking.

As part of the all-Russian campaign “Children’s Health is the Nation’s Inviolable Reserve,” a series of class hours on the prevention of nicotine, alcohol, and drug addiction were held in secondary schools together with the coordinators of the “Vozrozhdenie” center; as part of the class hours, thematic conversations, anti-advertising presentations, and videos about the dangers of using surfactants. The idea of holding similar classes on developing a healthy lifestyle culture aroused interest among other teachers in grades 8-9, so it was decided to continue the cycle.

The coordinator of the Republican Foundation "Vozrozhdenie" held a preventive conversation with a video presentation about the dangers of smoking for students of the Syktyvkar Cooperative College. At the meeting, excerpts from documentaries were shown and the consequences of drug and cigarette use were discussed. At the end there was a quiz “In the arms of tobacco smoke”. The children were offered a review of the literature on the prevention of alcoholism and tobacco smoking among young people. The results of the mini-survey confirm that after dialogues about health, many teenagers changed their attitude towards smoking and alcohol.

Republican Youth Library of Mordovi

On the occasion of the International Anti-Drug Day, a youth campaign “Forewarned is forearmed” was held. The discussion swing “The Road to Trouble” was dedicated to this day. What are the risks for a person addicted to drugs, what to do if you are offered to smoke weed, are there harmless drugs, what are the penalties for drug distribution - the students of the Raduga social rehabilitation center looked for answers to these questions together with the librarian. At the end of the meeting, a literature review was conducted on the book exhibition "Drugs - Dangerous to Life." The conference "AIDS. Is it possible to stop the epidemic?" was dedicated to AIDS Day. Epigraph of the conference "Don't die because of ignorance!" These words were not taken by chance - a survey of teenagers suggests that knowledge about this terrible disease is fragmentary and unscientific. The conference was prepared with students of the Saransk Construction College, with “difficult” teenagers. The teenagers themselves played the somewhat unusual role of people of different professions: journalist, virologist, infectious disease doctor, sociologist. Their story was illustrated with a media display.

For the purpose of anti-alcohol propaganda and tobacco smoking prevention, the library actively used various forms of events: an hour of reflection, a dialogue-warning, conversations, literary reviews, etc.

So, at the hour-reflection “Smoking - the pros and cons,” the question that worries teenagers was discussed: If you smoke, why? During the hour, situational games were held, during which the children had to refuse the offered cigarette in every possible way. By playing out such situations, teenagers will be able to resist temptations in the future.

Health Day "Health as a Life Priority" was held under the motto "A healthy mind in a healthy body." The program of the Day includes: a competitive and entertainment program “Sport is Health”, an excursion into the world of medicinal herbs “We are more useful from diseases than everyone else”, a literature review “Take care of your health from a young age”, a game-competition “We are healthy guys”.

The lesson on sports courage “Immortality of beauty and strength” was dedicated to young athletes who have reached heights in various sports. Particular attention was paid to fellow countrymen athletes. As part of the Program, a sociological study “Sport and Books” was conducted, which was a necessary step for further studying the attitude of young people to a healthy lifestyle, to sports literature, to physical education and sports.

A warning dialogue “Smoking or health? Choose for yourself” and a problem conversation “Willing prisoners of Bacchus” were held, which were illustrated with a media display.

On World No Tobacco Day, the library held a “Give up the cigarette and get some candy” campaign.

The Children's Services Department of the Central District Hospital organized a book exhibition "It's Great to Be Healthy!", held a game program "Strong, Agile, Brave", a conversation "Talking about Bad Habits", and a holiday "Health Day or Travel to the Country of Neboleyka".

For preschoolers of the kindergarten "Solnyshko" - a quiz "Magical Country - Health." The children drew pictures about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Children learned about what it means to be healthy, what profession people look after their health, why it is necessary to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and do physical exercise every day during the Health Day.

The guys took part in the quizzes “I love vitamins - I want to be healthy”, “Friends of Moidodyr”, and guessed riddles about health and cleanliness.

Then the children were read wonderful poems by Russian poets about a healthy lifestyle: A. Barto “Walk”, S. Marshak “Napping and Yawning”, S. Mikhalkov “About a girl who ate poorly”.

Young readers received a charge of cheerfulness, energy and good mood.

Segezha Central Banks

The formation of a healthy lifestyle among young people is one of the priority areas in the work of the Segezha Central Library Library. All activities are aimed at increasing the awareness of children and youth about health issues, developing health promotion skills, and creating motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle. Many libraries pay attention to the prevention of alcoholism, drug addiction, and smoking. In this case, a wide variety of methods and forms of library work are used: reviews, conversations, games, competitions, etc. Work is carried out throughout the year, but the largest number of events takes place during the Decade of Health.

The employees of the central regional library are carrying out a lot of information work to prevent the spread of drug addiction among teenagers and young people. Every year, during the Week of Quitting Bad Habits among Youth, which is organized in city schools, librarians give an information lesson “Through the pages of the Narconet magazine”, a presentation lesson “Nosmoking!”, conversations “A glass is not for a teenager” and “Alcoholism begins with beer."

With success, activities for the prevention of negative phenomena among young people and the formation of a healthy lifestyle are carried out in social risk groups in the classrooms of the Northern College evening school of the correctional colony of the orphanage - students of the Northern College, students of the evening school of the correctional colony, inmates of the orphanage, social risk groups.

In 2013, the opening of the photo exhibition “The Killer Drug” took place in the exhibition hall of the Central District Library. The Interdepartmental Anti-Drug Commission of the city of Segezha and the Segezha region was present at the opening, whose participants became the first visitors to this exhibition.

The author of the photographs, Swedish journalist Maria Söderberg, dedicated this work to St. Petersburg resident Yulia Murtazina, who died of a heroin overdose. The characters in the photo exhibition are a fourteen-year-old teenager and a student. The photo posters feature a dozen human stories that make both parents and young people think about life and death.

Then a virtual tour of the photo exhibition “Killer Drug!” was prepared. Virtual tour only in 2012-2013. 380 people visited.

In an active game form, an employee of the youth sector of the central regional library conducts an interactive game “Who will win, or a Teenager in the world of bad habits.” The young guys present at the game are divided into two teams - “Nut” and “Bricks”, having first determined what bad habits they will fight during the meeting. Both teams successfully pass the “cheat sheet” exam, answering questions about the dangers of alcohol, smoking and drugs, remembering when tobacco first appeared in Russia and what the punishment was for smokers. Participants in the game were able to calculate the loss of the family budget from the cost of purchasing cigarettes for the year, and then very quickly and skillfully composed slogans about bad habits.

In the captains' competition, team leaders spoke about health problems among teenagers associated with the use of tobacco, alcohol and drugs. The young people showed their acting skills by taking part in the “Collect and Depict a Proverb” competition: the pantomimes performed by the guys turned out to be interesting!

In the "Third Eye" competition, the children guessed words related to a healthy lifestyle.

The artists revealed their talents by depicting on paper the transformation of a drunkard into a pig in the Anti-Advertising competition.

The information and reference publication published by the Legal Information Center of the information and bibliographic department of the central regional library - “We must know what we eat” - is very popular among Segezhan residents. Bibliographers have prepared five issues - “Coffee”, “Ice cream”, “Tea”, “Canned cucumbers, tomatoes”, “Canned peas, corn”.

The Segezha City Family Reading Library traditionally holds an Information Day “It’s Great to Be Healthy” as part of the Decade of Health for students in grades 7-9 of city schools.

Health Day begins with a blitz test about colds: the presenter asks questions, participants write answers on paper, and the results are summed up - points are calculated. As a result, it turns out that many people’s health is weakened - so they need to take care of it: harden themselves, play sports, etc. Then the leader divides the guys into 2 teams, each team chooses a motto and name. Team members participate in competitions: “Out of the Bag” competition: team members take turns taking walnuts out of the bag and answering questions about healthy lifestyle; for the correct answer, the walnut remains in the team; the team that collects the most nuts wins.

The “Feed a Friend” competition turns out to be not only fun for the players, but also very tasty. Two participants from each team tie aprons to each other and feed each other yogurt.

Competition "Once upon a time": one team finds itself at the "Royal Feast", the other at the "Throne of the Sultan". On the cards, participants are given the names of dishes and drinks; they need to choose which dishes they ate at the royal feast or while visiting the Sultan.

Several people are selected from the team to participate in the impromptu fairy tale “Elixir of Youth” about a healthy lifestyle.

The Day of Information "It's Great to Be Healthy" ends with a quiz at the book exhibition "Read for Health." For example, questions are asked: is it true that carrots slow down the aging process? Is it true that milk is healthier than yogurt? Is it true that there are harmless drugs? After the children answered, the librarian showed literature from the exhibition, where you can find the correct answer with an explanation.

Every year, the Family Reading Library holds an educational hour “How Piggy Wanted to Become an Adult” for elementary and middle-aged students. This event, with elements of theatricality, tells in poetic form about the dangers of smoking. Participants in the production: presenter, Piggy, Stepashka, Doctor Aibolit, girl, mother, rooster, Baba Yaga. During the play, the main character, Piggy, wants to become an adult as soon as possible.

It's worth smoking, isn't it?

Since I decided to be an adult,

So I need to smoke.

He bought cigarettes

And I smoked for the first time.

But Khryusha begins to choke and goes to Doctor Aibolit. The doctor explains what will happen to him if he continues to smoke. Then various adventures happen to Piggy, which help him understand himself and become an adult.

I didn’t even expect it myself

How I suddenly became more mature

...By actions... By deeds...

And cigarettes are a shame.

Nadvoitsa City Library

The library held a moral hour, "It's a Dangerous, Dangerous World," for students in grades 5-8. The event was a success among the children and was therefore repeated several times by library staff.

On 4 sheets of ceiling tiles measuring 50x50, pages were designed - the name of the section and pictures.

“A lot of troubles lurk in the sweet smoke of cigarettes” - smoking.

"To drink or not to drink?" - alcoholism.

“Drugs, alas, are not horror stories” - drug addiction.

"One injection, one puff - and it's not a child - an old man!" - smoking.

During the event, the teams were given a paper boat and given the task: each creative group on one side of the boat to formulate “Life is...” and voice it out. On the other side, “Typhoons (bad habits that prevent a person from living) are…” and voice it.

The hour of morality included 3 game tasks:

Throw the empty pack of cigarettes as far as possible and never pick it up again.

Knock down empty beer bottles with a ball (an example of bowling), and may they never come across your path in life.

- “Give up on drugs” - youth slang: nail the paper with “drugs” written on it to a wooden block with one blow.

A new direction was working with children's audiences. Communication with children with disabilities is particularly difficult.

As part of the project, Health Days were held for children in the rehabilitation class of the Sheltozero school: “How to preserve and improve vision”, “Health techniques”, “Nutrition for schoolchildren”. The components of the Health Days included library excursions, thematic reviews and reviews of children's encyclopedias, visits to the city Health Center, consultations and practical classes with medical specialists on vision hygiene, breathing exercises, reflexology, nutrition, and hardening. To retain the acquired knowledge and skills, booklets and other handouts were prepared for each lesson. Children who attended the Health Days at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the Sheltozero Health Fair and showed their peers all the skills and knowledge acquired at the events. The school had offices for an “ophthalmologist,” “pulmonologist,” and “therapist.” Little “doctors” dressed in white coats showed acupressure self-massage, therapeutic games, talked about the food pyramid and methods of hardening

Health days on body hardening and oral hygiene were held for children in the rehabilitation class of Ladvinskaya Secondary School.

Health Day "Oral Care" was held at the children's dental clinic. On a huge demonstration jaw, children learned to brush their teeth and choose brushes. Each child received a new toothbrush and toothpaste as a gift. The children were examined by dentists, and all diseased teeth were treated.

The department of medical literature has been working with the city children's rehabilitation center "Rodnik" for several years now. One of the Health Days held was called “Chamomile of Health”

The practice of organizing lecture halls and holding open public lectures is being revived in libraries. In January last year, a new lecture hall was also opened at the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Your health." In classes, lecture presentation of knowledge is always accompanied by interactive elements. This could be a situational game, solving tasks, etc. Guests become direct participants in the lesson, and not just listeners.

“Specialists from various medical institutions of the city and the republic are involved in the work of the lecture hall. People of different age groups came to the first classes as listeners, and the interests of our audience did not always coincide.

Now classes are held separately for young people and for people of mature age. Young people want to learn the art of communication, crisis management and conflict resolution, learn about reproductive health, non-chemical addictions and computer hygiene.

It is important for older people to assess their health, learn how to maintain it, how to be treated and how to behave in certain situations.

A completely new, promising and popular form of working with young people is game-based activities and training in a small audience using library information resources. We have united them under the general name “Prevention of risky behavior.” We are talking about problems associated with drug addiction, AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, stress and the inability to find a common language with others.

At such events there is no edification, no one demands silence. It will also not work to remain silent and sit out. Everyone is involved in the discussion.

Another niche for the work of each library is health schools at medical institutions, aimed at increasing the level of knowledge, awareness, and acquiring practical skills for patients with various chronic diseases. The National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides information support to specialists in the process of preparing classes and directly participates in the conduct of schools. Reviews of popular science literature complement acquired knowledge and expand the range of interests. Topics can be very diverse: chronic diseases, treatment with herbs and folk remedies, combating insomnia and skin diseases.

The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan acts as the organizer of citywide events on healthy lifestyle. One of them, “Life without drugs,” was carried out jointly with the Republican Narcological Dispensary. As part of the campaign, electronic presentations, role-playing games, trainings, questioning of participants, library excursions, literature reviews were held, and a book exhibition “Choose Health, Save Your Life” was organized. The campaign dedicated to World No Smoking Day is held every year among young people. The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan is trying to attract healthcare and educational institutions as partners: the Republican Center for Medical Prevention, health centers of city clinics, the College of Culture and Arts. During the event, students and teachers can check the level of carbon dioxide in the blood, lung volume, measure their weight, blood pressure, calculate the body mass index, get acquainted with the literature available in the library’s collections, receive handouts, take part in quizzes and surveys, and sign up for examination at the Health Centers and the smoking cessation office. With high spirits, young people inflate colored balloons, blow soap bubbles and exchange cigarettes for candies.

In one of the corners of the library there was an exhibition of literature “How are you made, Mr. Body?”, anatomical models and a human skeleton were exhibited.

Health Day in the Library - Lecture Classes "Be Healthy"

The library can be a platform for holding vibrant, socially significant events with a social focus, such as health fairs.

During the fair, they tried to solve several problems at once: to draw the population’s attention to the value of health, health care, lifestyle, provide information about health status and disease prevention, attract new groups of readers to the library and present it as a center of interpersonal communication.

On the Path to Health: A Range of Library Ideas
From the experience of children's libraries in the Lipetsk region

When meeting, people always wish each other health: “Hello, good health!” Indeed, health is necessary for every person. It is especially important to maintain the health of children and adolescents.
An attitude towards health and a healthy lifestyle do not appear in a person by themselves, but are formed as a result of a certain informational and pedagogical influence. And one of the leading roles in this matter, along with health and education authorities, belongs to libraries.
Today, children's libraries in the region have sufficient information resources to promote a healthy lifestyle and use them correctly. A huge future lies in preventive work, which can be carried out by a smart book, the word of a specialist, and meaningful information. Forming a conscious attitude toward a healthy lifestyle is the goal of events held in children's libraries. This work is more successful where it is carried out purposefully, systematically, where program and project activities are introduced.
Usman Children's Library She has been working under the “Healthy Lifestyle” program for several years. The main goal of the program is to develop in children and youth a positive attitude towards life and their own health. The range of activities included in the program is wide, and, notably, there are no repetitions in either topics or titles. For example:
— conversation-game “Hot day in Sportlandia”;
— entertainment lesson “How Boleyka was re-educated”;
— educational quiz “The world needs sport”;
— review-discussion “The Needle is a Cruel Game”;
— conversation-dialogue: “If you want to live long, stop smoking cigarettes”;
— erudite show “Beauty and health are given by nature.”
It is very important to instill healthy lifestyle skills in children from an early age, so children from the Rainbow kindergarten became frequent guests of the children's library. Together with the librarians, the children went on a playful journey on a bright train to the “Land of Health”. At the station “What do you know about yourself?” children learned what a skeleton is, as well as about the main human organs. At the stations “Regimen of the Day” and “Sportivnaya” - what is mode and sport, why do they need the Olympic Games. At the final station “Bad Habits” we talked about the dangers of smoking. Using the example of the poem “Smoking Heron,” the guys concluded that health is a person’s most important wealth. The children were given an entertainment lesson “Visiting Moidodyr”, a health lesson “Princess Hygiene and Her Friends”, and a travel game “In Search of the Land of Health”.
The effectiveness of work to popularize the basics of a healthy lifestyle directly depends on coordinating and combining the efforts of the library with other interested organizations. So, at the beginning of 2014 Dobrinsk Central Children's Library together with the MFC of the Dobrinsky district, they initiated the creative work competition “In the Light of the Olympic Flame”, the purpose of which was to popularize the Olympic movement among children and teenagers. The competition was held in the following categories: “Olympiad and Olympic Movement”; “Sports still life”; “My family and I are FOR a healthy lifestyle.” The works of the competition participants were demonstrated in the library foyer at the exhibition “Our Olympics. Our Sochi! The prize-winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.
“It’s great to be healthy!” — under this motto, a single team of library specialists, medical workers and teachers worked at the multi-component site “Planet of Health”, organized on the basis of Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution Secondary School No. 2 in the village of Dobrinka. The purpose of the event is to create in children the need for a healthy lifestyle, to reveal positive and negative factors affecting human health. The competition program was rich and interesting: quizzes, riddles, and chants followed one after another. The guys actively, and most importantly, correctly answered the tasks and questions of the presenter. They also talked about the importance of physical education, conditioning, personal hygiene, daily routine, proper nutrition, and paid special attention to the negative consequences that result from the use of alcohol, nicotine, and drugs. Considered health as the main value of human life and human society. At the end of the event, the program participants came up with a formula for health. The “+” sign indicates factors that positively affect health, and the “-” sign indicates negative factors.
Experts are not alone in their work to promote a healthy lifestyle. Lebedyansk Children's Library. It is difficult to fight drug addiction alone, so librarians coordinate their work with educational institutions, medicine, the prosecutor's office, the department for minors, and the clergy. Information Hour “Stop and Think!” made teenagers think about how harmful and dangerous drugs are. In a popular form, experts told children about the nature of drugs; that, taking one dose after another, a person over and over again becomes more and more accustomed to it and becomes less and less like a person. During the event, a fragment from the video film “It’s Dangerous” was shown. Those gathered concluded that everyone’s health and happiness are in their own hands. To expand and strengthen the knowledge of younger schoolchildren about a healthy lifestyle, the children's library held a fairy tale-game “So that we grow strong” in an educational theatrical form. The event participants were presented with a theatrical performance of how Winnie the Pooh and his friends took care of Christopher Robin and helped him recover. From this short performance, children learned how to take care of their health, that they need to toughen up, do exercises, and the importance of following a daily routine. Boys and girls enjoyed participating in the “Guess What I’m Doing?” competition. Young experts expanded their knowledge of how to spend time rationally, became familiar with sociocultural ideas, and the world of human spiritual values. We learned a few simple tips:
. Early to rise, early to bed
Tomorrow you won't yawn all day;
. Drink on time, eat on time -
You will be strong and fresh until old age! and so on.
The guys' imagination and inventions are limitless.
Of course, activity in promoting a healthy lifestyle directly depends on the attention paid to this problem at the local level. In the Stanovlyansky district, for many years now there has been a decree of the head of administration No. 3 dated January 8, 2004, “On measures to regulate the consumption of alcoholic beverages and beer in the Stanovlyansky district.” Promoting the foundations of a healthy lifestyle, revealing the relationship between the physical and spiritual development of personality, searching for new interesting forms of library events aimed at sports and health education of the younger generation - this is how experts see their contribution to the implementation of the resolution Stanovlyanskaya Children's Library. They developed a comprehensive system of thematic events. The children were offered an exhibition-dialogue “The Road to Good Health”, a discussion “Forewarned is Forearmed”, and an oral magazine “No to Alcoholism and Smoking”. The children were presented with useful information not only in the form of reviews of new books, popular periodicals, but also Internet resources. Readers had the opportunity to view slide programs, video programs, and take part in discussions of topics that concern them. Youth events in libraries began to take place much more frequently and in more variety. Readers of the children's library, as part of the “Health Marathon” campaign, visited the interactive exhibition “Sport - an alternative to bad habits”, and then went to the children’s playground and held an interesting and educational event “Say YES to health!” in the fresh air.
Popularization of sports and physical activity, establishment of healthy lifestyle values in society for librarians Terbun Children's Library not empty words. Librarians, along with amateurs, professional athletes, sports veterans, as well as representatives of the district authorities, participate in sports events and promote a healthy lifestyle by personal example. Thus, children's librarians are regular participants in the annual ski cross in honor of the liberation of the Terbunsky district from the Nazi invaders, and in the cyclo cross held as part of Village Day. On the opening day of the Olympics, February 7, 2014, readers and librarians became active participants in the cultural and sports event dedicated to the opening of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. Children and adults were united by a wonderful sports festival that took place at the Olimpiysky cultural and sports complex. Spectators welcomed the Olympic torchbearers and famous athletes; the festival program included sports competitions in various sports.
Forming a conscious attitude toward a healthy lifestyle is the goal of the activities carried out in Zadonsk Children's Library. These are, first of all, book exhibitions, which occupy a key place in the work of children's libraries, and their goal is to create in children the need to be healthy through books. Book exhibitions were organized for each age group of readers: “Winter Fun”, “If you want to be healthy!”, “We are friends with physical education - we are not afraid of illness!”, “Temptation by curiosity”. Health watches contributed to the formation of a new vision of a healthy lifestyle in children: “How to gain strength for life”, “Nature gives beauty and health”.
All my accumulated experience and ideas on the topic of healthy lifestyle for workers Lev-Tolstoy Children's Library expressed in the project to create an information and educational center “Second Wind”. Today, the center’s activities are carried out within the framework of the regional program “A healthy mind in a healthy body.” At the Lipetsk regional fair of socially significant projects and public initiatives, he was awarded a diploma in the “Public Vocation” category. As part of the project, various events were held in the children's department. A special place in the center’s outreach work with children and youth is occupied by the prevention of addictions and introducing the younger generation to a healthy lifestyle. During the “Say NO to Cigarettes, Alcohol, and Drugs” campaign, a whole range of events were held for readers. A presentation of O. F. Eryshev’s new book “Life without Drugs” took place, book exhibitions of various types and types were organized under the general title “Planet Health”, conversations and excursions from the “Man from the Inside” series were held. Health hours, hours of interesting messages, lessons on longevity, and literature reviews have proven positive. The hour of topical conversation “Lifetime Captivity” caused great resonance. The library took part in a single prevention day, to which children and adolescents on different types of records, their parents, as well as girls and boys, teachers and counselors from the day-health camp of the L. N. Tolstoy secondary school were invited. It discussed issues of behavior and employment of children and adolescents in the summer.
Organizing a children's holiday in a summer health camp is an excellent opportunity to instill in children healthy lifestyle skills. A series of outdoor events was organized by specialists Khleven Children's Library. This is an expedition game “Get ready for a journey - go for health”, “Meeting in a flower meadow”, an hour of useful advice “Journey to the world of safety and health”.
To organize and conduct events to popularize a healthy lifestyle and prevent bad habits, it is very important to involve children-readers themselves. Thus, the artists of the puppet theater "Skomorosha" Children's Library of the Lipetsk Municipal District under the guidance of librarians, we prepared a theatrical quiz “We are for a healthy lifestyle” for schoolchildren in grades 2-4. The event was emotionally intense. Fairy-tale heroes Aibolit and Barmaley held a mini-quiz. The program included proverbs, sayings, riddles about a healthy lifestyle and hygiene products. The hosts of the event spoke about the benefits of hardening, the role of vitamins in human life and, of course, conducted fun exercises.
Branches do not lag behind central libraries. Therefore, I would like to say about Don Children's LibraryZadonsky district. All parents want to see their child healthy, strong, resilient, agile and brave. To become like this, a child must engage in sports that will give him good physical shape, and the book exhibitions “Sport will help us multiply our strength”, “Our friend sport”, “I want to become a champion”, “To help a football player” help children choose a sport they like. " etc.
An unusual health lesson “Interesting about useful things” was held in Yusovsky rural library of Chaplyginsky district. There was an interesting conversation about milk and its beneficial properties. After processing milk, many products necessary for human nutrition are obtained. The guys independently prepared and gave presentations on cottage cheese, yogurt, kefir, and cheese. Children actively participated in the quiz about dairy products “Drink milk, children, you will be healthy!”
Employees of children's libraries in the Lipetsk region are trying to convey to children the knowledge about the need to take their health seriously in all forms and methods available to them. With all the breadth of the range of library ideas, the ultimate goal of such events is to involve the child in the thinking process, making him aware of the need to form his own opinion about a healthy lifestyle. Correctly set moral priorities help children and adolescents resist antisocial phenomena and orient them toward a healthy lifestyle.
