This effect works like “Slowdown”, actually slowing down the enemy, which is very useful for not very fast cyborgs, and like “Fire”, burning the opponent’s strength, but much faster, which, coupled with fire and exhaustion from Sektor and Smoke, will definitely leave your opponents without the power to use special moves (an interesting point - if a SP reinforced by a drone kills an enemy, then the “Freezer” effect is applied to the next opponent who comes out). Strengthened by such a set of effects, Cyber Sub Zero takes out any opponent without any problems, additionally freezing him at the end of the combo using the same drone, which opens the helpless opponent to attacks with special techniques. The drone is disposable, that is, it disappears from any Triborg after a joint use of SP, or after a full combo personally from Cyber Sub Zero. However, it can also be restored after applying the 1st SP to all Triborgs an unlimited number of times.

The search dragged on, and the hero again met his sworn enemy in the guise of a ghost. The second fight also brought him victory, but his strength was depleted. Suddenly Quan Chi appeared in front of him and declared that his soul belonged to the Dark Brotherhood and now he must serve Shinnok. There he was first seen by Scorpio, who remained in the service of the organizer. Hasashi Hanzo thought that the old enemy had returned, and it was necessary to kill him again. In Armageddon, the younger Sub Zero encounters Taven, who has unceremoniously invaded the clan's temple. The heroes clash, but later unite to repel the invasion of the forces of the Outer World. Kuai Liang puts on a new costume, the main feature of which is a long, dark blue cloak. Now Sub Zero intends to do good by saving the innocent, but he does not yet know that Following in his footsteps are the cyborg killers Sektor, Smoke and Cyrex, who still managed to survive after the events of the previous parts.
Reaction to Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Fans reacted to such a drastic change in image rather ambiguously. Some people liked the idea of making Sub Zero a superhero.
