Ivan Bocharov: Either Dynamo played the best game, or SKA played one of the worst

Dynamo goalkeeper Ivan Bocharov, in a conversation with a correspondent of Soviet Sport in St. Petersburg, shared his impressions of the victory over SKA.

- Did you know in advance that you would go against SKA?
- Before the match with Admiral. There was such a plan: Sasha Eremenko played then, and I played against SKA. It turns out that I found out three days before the game.

- Surely you are satisfied not only with the result, but with the game itself: Dynamo was in no way inferior.
-There are two factors: either we played the best game, or SKA played one of the worst.

- Do you think SKA was not as good as in previous games?
- It’s hard for me to compare, because this was my first match against the army team. Thanks to the team. We played great, kept the puck and got the points we needed at the moment.

- Vladimir Vorobyov admitted before the match that he was keeping an eye on his competitors. Do players do this too?
- Yes, we are tracking it. We know that Severstal also won in overtime today. We must try not to think about other opponents. We still have a match with Spartak. We have to go out, take three points, and then the cards will fall.

- The remaining match will be like the final of the Gagarin Cup.
- Spartak has two matches less, Severstal has one. Let's hope that other teams will help us. Including SKA,” Bocharov told a correspondent of “Soviet Sports in St. Petersburg.”

Let us remind you that SKA lost to Dynamo Moscow in overtime with a score of 2:3. Vadim Shipachev and Sergei Kalinin scored goals for the St. Petersburg team. Muscovites responded accurate throws Martins Karsums and Vladislav Efremov. The winning goal was scored by Alexei Tereshchenko.

After this match, the army team is leading in the rankings with 136 points. general table. Dynamo, with 80 points, are in seventh place in the West.

Prev last match In the KHL, SKA will play on January 27 in Finland against Jokerit, Dynamo will play its last match of the regular season against Spartak on February 1.
