SPECIALIZED CHILDREN AND YOUTH SCHOOL OF OLYMPIC RESERVE (SDUSHOR) SKA SAINT PETERSBURG ICE HOCKEY

The hockey school at the SKA LenVO club was founded in 1956 as a training group, and then as a children's and youth sports school. Since the mid-60s of the last century, it has taken a leading position in the city and gained authority throughout the country. The status of SDYUSHOR was assigned to the SKA hockey school in 1977 by order of the USSR Minister of Defense.

SKA boys and juniors won gold at the USSR Championship in 1977 (coaches O. Sivkov, I. Shchurkov), once became silver medalists and three times - bronze. Among the graduates of the SKA Sports School there are many world-class players who have won all types of hockey awards. This is 2x Olympic champion, 5-time world champion A. Kasatonov (tr. O. Sivkov), Olympic champion, 3-time world champion, Stanley Cup winner A. Gusarov (tr. E. Tobolkin), Olympic champion, 2-time world champion N. Drozdetsky, world champions E. Belosheykin, S. Khalizov, S. Shendelev, M. Sushinsky, world championship silver medalists V. Solodukhin, M. Sokolov, world championship participants Y. Tsyplakov and M. Davydov.

15 pupils of the Sports School SKA are champions of the youth world championship, nine are European champions among juniors.

THE MAIN TASKS OF THE WORK OF SDYUSHOR SKA:

1. Social – popularization and development of hockey in St. Petersburg, introducing children and youth to sports and a healthy lifestyle;

2. Professional – teaching children and youth the profession of hockey athlete, ensuring a personnel strategy when recruiting teams of the MHL “SKA-1946” and “Silver Lions”, the Major League - HC VMF, KHL - "SKA" (St. Petersburg) in accordance with the requirements of the current KHL regulations on the presence of a hockey school as a mandatory condition for membership in the League.

Currently, the SKA Hockey Sports School is a structural subdivision of the Regional Public Organization “Hockey Club SKA St. Petersburg”, uniting more than 700 participating children and youth born in 1994 to 2006. and about thirty trainers and teachers.

The SKA hockey school participates in all stipulated FHR and FH St. Petersburg official competitions– Russian Championship (Region North-West, four age groups), the Open Championship of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Cup (eight age groups each), the St. Petersburg Federation Cup (two age groups).

Three years ago, SDYUSHOR SKA became the leader in the North-West region.

The SKA Sports and Youth Sports School teams are the basis for recruiting the team of the North-West region to participate in the Russian Championship among Federal Districts and Spartakiads.

Currently, SDYUSHOR SKA is in the unofficial ranking of Russian hockey schools takes 7th position.

The hockey school of PHC CSKA LLC is a structural division of the professional hockey club CSKA. Schooling - free.

The school's training process takes place at the home arena of the CSKA hockey club - in Ledovoye sports complex CSKA them. V. M. Bobrova. Training for young athletes takes place in 12 groups for children aged 5-16 years. The duration of training for children is 60-90 minutes. Training runs four to six times a week from September to May (depending on age group).

Starting from the age of 10, the student’s parents enter into an agreement with the school sports training and are fully supported by the hockey club, and at the age of 17 he signs with the best students professional contract. Sports camps and trips to various tournaments are carried out at the expense of PHC CSKA LLC.

Classes are held at two sites (Canadian and large sites). also in training process training and gaming halls. Twice a year, students undergo a free medical examination at the CSKA medical and sports clinic.

  • The junior team takes part in Open Championship Moscow among juniors;
  • teams born 2003-2007 - in the Moscow Open Championship;
  • teams born 2008-2010 - in the Moscow Cups;
  • team born 2011 - in the Moscow Hockey Federation Cup.

Matches are played on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from September to April.

Students of our school are members of Russian national teams of their ages. After graduating from school, the most promising students are invited to join the Red Army youth team.
