Prohibited

Eating almost all plant foods is acceptable when losing weight. After all, it is a natural source of substances beneficial to the human body.   • durian;
  • tamarinds;
  • sultanas;

  • jackfruit;
  • Thai sugar apples;
  • Thai hairy bananas;
  • chempedak;
  • mangosteens;
  • sapodilla;
  • Melon Torpedo;
  • marang.

Fruits increase acidity, so pomegranates and freshly squeezed juices are not suitable for an alkaline diet. This point will definitely be taken into account by a qualified specialist.

Some nutritionists even prohibit their patients from eating all green fruits. This is due to their often high calorie content (kiwi, avocado, grapes, jackfruit, star fruit). As an exception, you can eat green apples.

Rules for eating fruits

For good result It is not enough to know which fruits you should not eat when losing weight; it is important to follow some rules for their consumption. With their help, you will be able to minimize the risk of gaining excess weight.

The article was checked and approved by Elizaveta Anatolyevna Krizhanovskaya, a practicing family doctor - see.

Enzymes, vitamins, pectins, fiber, organic and amino acids, micro- and macroelements - all this storehouse of useful substances is contained in fruits. They are preferred as dietary products, as they have a more pleasant taste compared to vegetables. However, there is also a danger in this: they are sweeter, higher in calories, and if you get carried away, there is a risk of gaining a couple more kilograms rather than losing them. Therefore, you need to be more careful with their selection and quantity.

Benefits and harms

Fruits are useful for weight loss due to their rich chemical composition and complex effect on the body:

  • take a long time to digest, reducing appetite and eliminating the need for snacks;
  • relieve excess fluid and swelling;
  • normalize the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • cleanse organs of slagging and toxic compounds;
  • nourish the body with useful substances, strengthening the immune system and establishing the smooth functioning of systems;
  • They are natural sources of energy: fructose and glucose elevate mood, improve brain activity, and give a boost of energy - this is exactly what those who lose weight during diets lack;
  • prevent the deposition of fats and promote their burning;
  • speed up metabolism.

In addition, they are allowed for vegetarians and are the basis of the diet in almost any diet.

There is no doubt that with a properly organized diet, fruits contribute to weight loss, but they can also be harmful to health.

Long-term fruit diets negatively affect the functioning of the stomach, for the normal functioning of which hot dishes are required. Therefore you need to select mixed systems food and at least have soups for lunch.

There is a high risk of poisoning if rotten, overripe or unripe fruits have been selected. Exotic and out-of-season foods can cause indigestion, so it’s best not to get carried away with them. If they are not washed well, helminthic infestation is possible.

Side effects during fruit weight loss are not uncommon: flatulence, bloating, pain in the epigastric region, unpleasant and frequent belching, diarrhea.

Organic acids, contained in large quantities in fruits, irritate the mucous membranes of the mouth and stomach. This leads to the formation of ulcers, so complications in the form of stomatitis and gastritis are another disadvantage of long-term weight loss.

Like any other plant food, fruits lack proteins, iron and cobalamins that the body needs. Their lack is fraught with vitamin deficiencies with all the ensuing consequences: anemia, shortness of breath, blurred vision, depression.

Long-term use is contraindicated in the presence of diseases of the digestive system, kidneys, diabetes and a tendency to allergies.

We conclude: if you plan to lose weight with fruit, it should not be a fast, but a balanced diet, supplemented with other dietary products and not exceeding 1 month in duration. You can choose such a diet at.

With the world - one by one. If you are lucky enough to visit Japan, be sure to find a store owned by the Senbikiya chain. They sell only fruits, but what kind! Selected, mega-large, the juiciest, having passed several levels of quality testing. No rot, no stains, no dents. These are the ones you should use for weight loss. True, they are exorbitantly expensive. For example, for 0.5 kg of strawberries you will have to pay about $100.

There is also an opinion among nutritionists that most green fruits are undesirable for weight loss. This has not been scientifically proven, but in fact it is true. For example, avocado and durian are among the highest in calories. Grapes and jackfruit are too sweet. Carambola and kiwi contain too much oxalic acid, which corrodes the stomach lining. The only exception is apples.

Paradox. Avocado is a source of fat and at the same time has fat-burning properties. But this is not the only thing that makes him amazing. It turns out that it is out of season, since the ripe fruit can hang on the tree and not spoil for up to 7 months.

In order for fruits to play their role as dietary products flawlessly, you need to know a few rules for their proper use.

For fast weight loss fruit fasting days are good, especially and. You can lose up to 2 kg of weight per day. But at the same time you need to have a good stomach: if you have diseases, it may not withstand such a powerful attack of organic acids.

Fruits are much healthier in their raw form, but when losing weight, you can also eat heat-treated ones - they are gentle on the stomach and allow you to prolong your diet.

They must be washed thoroughly before use. Throw away rotten and spoiled ones immediately, because harmful substances could spread throughout the fruit.

If the diet is long-term, as additional products you need to choose dietary ones and those that go well with fruits: vegetables, milk, low-fat cottage cheese, kefir, chicken, lean fish.

Follow the basic rules for losing weight that work for any diet and ensure its high effectiveness: exercise, eat small meals, drink plenty of water, don’t eat at night.

You can use fruit cocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, juices. However, they must be homemade and without added sugar.

Experts say that only seasonal fruits are beneficial.

If you are the type of person whose appetite wakes up mainly in the evening, just eat some fruits that block hunger, and the problem will be eliminated. Apples are especially good in this regard.

Interesting fact. Scientists are still looking for the answer to this phenomenon: people suffering from latex allergies also cannot tolerate mangoes and kiwis.
