The Football Federation presented a new national uniform with embroidered shirt, a song and a mascot in the image of a knight. Belarusian Football Federation How it all went

On August 9, the Football Federation of Belarus presented the new uniform of the national team, a song recorded by the Navi team and a mascot in the image of a knight - Vayar.

As previously reported by the Football Federation Marketing Director Vladimir Berezhkov, the uniform will feature an “embroidered shirt”. The team’s design features a new brand – “White Wings”.

“The ornament was applied to the version of the uniform that we ordered,” explained the head of the football federation Sergey Rumas.

— Standard set. Perm Amkar plays in the same one.

- Yes. We only added the ornament. Its application on the uniform was approved by UEFA. Of course, they chose from the range of ornaments that exist in Belarus. And the choice was made on the one depicted on the state flag.

It was in this form that UEFA presented the idea of applying additional elements to the uniform. We had to prove that they were not the brand we were advertising.

— Do you think the new national football team uniform will be as popular as the Croatian checkers?

- First of all, I would like it to be as successful as in the cases of the best teams.

The team's players were delighted with the new clothes.

- I feel comfortable in this uniform! I liked the non-standard approach to design, shared my impressions Alexander Gleb.

— Each top team has its own brand. I really like that now we have one,” noted Denis Polyakov.

“I believe that the new original uniform will inspire the players, and they will come to the location of the national team with great desire and in an inspired state,” said Vitaly Rodionov.

Also during the presentation, a new image video was presented...

Another 4 passes in the play-offs will be played out by the 8 best teams among the second-place finishers. The play-offs will take place in November 2017.

Let's praise our football team, otherwise it's unclear when the next occasion will appear. On Monday evening, in the rich scenery of the National Museum of Art, there was a pleasant presentation of the new playing uniform of the main team of the country. From now on, it is worn by Italians from Bologna. The company is called Macron. The guys sewed cute kits for Sporting, Lazio, Real Sociedad, Nice and PAOK. Now they also sew for teams. The atmosphere was festive. A new uniform means a new life, in which our football team is not averse to making it to its first top tournament.

What kind of Macron?

In the life of our team there were German Adidas and Puma, English Miter and Umbro, something poorly recognizable - and now Italian Macron. This is an office from Bologna. A city famous for its universities and food. It was there in 1971 that the story of the new technical sponsor of the Belarusians began.

Manufacturers of sportswear in the Apennines are naturally inferior to monsters like Nike and Adidas, as well as the rapidly progressing Under Armor and New Balance. But they are respected by connoisseurs. Diadora, Kappa, FILA, Macron - an easy way to stand out.

The agreement with the new technical partner runs until 2022. The Italians won the tender announced by UEFA as part of the Kit assistance program. According to its terms, Macron dresses the national and youth teams of small football countries for free. Belarus is like that. Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Albania, Moldova, Liechtenstein, Armenia, and Georgia dress up according to the same program.

At the same time, the manufacturer promises an individual design. Belarusians visited Bologna in July 2017. After negotiations, our design for the game uniform was developed. UEFA approved it.

If the domestic federation wants to dress up other national teams in Macron - women's, youth, then they will have to pay. The federation planned to conclude a separate agreement for the supply of these items.

There are also plans for a successful performance in the League of Nations, which will give a chance to be included in the European Championship.

What is the League of Nations?

A means of combating friendly matches, the meaning of which many could not understand in recent years. They say that there are few goals and objectives, and players from clubs fail and sometimes get injured.

True, the League of Nations is not only an opportunity to win something, but also a means of qualifying for the upcoming Euro.

In 2020, the tournament format will be quite bizarre. Yes, there will be 24 participants again (for the second time in history), but it will take place in as many as 12 countries. The classic qualifications will be played out in a year, and not in two, as everyone is used to. The continent's 55 teams will be divided into 10 groups, the two best teams from each will go straight to the European Championship.

Four more teams will get there thanks to the Nations League. This is where all the fun is for us.

There are four leagues in the League of Nations. Each league has groups. Our team is now in League D - the weakest. Belarus' rivals are San Marino, Luxembourg and Moldova. Very feasible.

If we win the group, we have the opportunity to compete for the Euro. Four teams from each league will compete in the playoffs. The joints will take place in March 2020. Play-off places will be allocated to each group winner first, and if a team has already qualified for the European Championships, its place will go to the next best team in the division.

In general, for the first time, one of the 12 teams that is in the fifth or sixth draw pot will take part in Euro 2020. That is, we have a chance for the debut top tournament in the history of the country.

How did everything go?

From the start they gave us noise, then they gave us Shuma. Not to say that it went well. But overall, the artist’s choice was considered stylish.

It seemed that by the evening everyone would get tired of joking about Mikhail Shufutinsky, but in the crowd, in completely serious discussions, they discussed how much his performance would cost and what the hype would be if the organizers decided to accept such an invitation.

The crowd, if we talk about it, mostly consisted of its own - journalists, sports specialists, sports marketers, and honored fans. The heels of delivery men and taxis drove by, and residents of neighboring houses could be seen from the windows - a man in an unbuttoned shirt, 2 women and one shaggy dog.

The presentation itself was a bit awkward. All the players of the national team came down from the steps of the museum, fortunately they are now having a training camp before the start of the Nations League. Midfielders Igor Stasevich, Ivan Mayevsky, defender Alexander Martynovich, forward Anton Saroka and goalkeeper Sergei Chernik showed their playing kits. White with red ornaments on the sides, red with white. Goalkeepers will wear green.

The main football uniform of the Belarusian national team entered the top five among football national team uniforms, according to the English specialized publication Squawka.

The British noted the ten main uniforms of the national teams that were selected to participate in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Among them, the five best and five worst sports kits in terms of their design and design are named. In addition to the Belarusian national team, the top five also included the uniforms of the teams of Mali, Denmark, Costa Rica and Mexico. The last lines of the ranking, according to the British, were occupied by the uniforms of the national teams of the following countries: Algeria, Kosovo, Ukraine, Slovakia and Ireland.

It is noteworthy that the home uniform of the Belarusian national team is recognized as stylish and expressive due to its ornamentation with national motifs, emphasizing the color and originality of the Belarusian football team. Unfortunately, we will not be able to see Belarusian players at Russian stadiums hosting the World Championship in 2018, since the Belarusians failed to qualify.

The technical sponsor of the “white wings” team is the German concern Adidas, whose designers did a great job developing a uniform made in white. The T-shirt depicts a stylized national ornament in red. Above it in the center is the player's number, on the right side is the logo of the company sponsoring the team, and on the left is the club emblem depicting a red and green soccer ball. These colors duplicate the colors of the national team flag. The background of the ball features a white wing, which gave the team its nickname. Contrasting black stripes are applied along the sleeve and shoulder seam of the jersey.

The T-shirt is complemented by shorts and white sports socks with black transverse stripes, which are a signature feature of Adidas.

The history of football in Belarus goes back more than a century. The year of the birth of the world game is considered to be 1910. In 1989, the Belarusian Football Federation appeared, and already in the early 90s there was the first Belarusian Cup. In the same year, our federation joined FIFA and entered the international championship level.
